KLR College of Engineering and Technology has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:
CoursesEligibility
MBA/PGDMCandidate must have passed Bachelor Degree (BA / B.Com/ B.Sc/ BBA / BBM / BCA / BE / B.Tech / B. Pharmacy / Any 3 or 4 year Degree except Oriental Languages). Examinations of minimum three years duration with at least 50% marks (45% marks in case of reserved categories) in the qualifying examinations. Final year appearing students may also apply on provisional basis. The minimum age of the candidates should be 19 years as on the date of notification (Candidates whose date of Birth up to 30th MARCH, 2003). No maximum age limit.
B.E. / B.TechCandidates who have passed or appeared at the final year of the Diploma examination in Engineering conducted by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh or any other examination recognised as equivalent thereto by the State Board of Technical Education and Training, Telangana / Andhra Pradesh. Candidates should have completed 16 years of age, as on 31st December of the year of admission. There is no upper age limit.
M.E./M.TechCandidate must have completed B.E./B.Tech./AMIE in Civil Engg./Construction engineering / Civil and Environmental Engg. (or) equivalent from a UGC recognised University/ institute. Preference will be given to GATE qualified candidates over TS PGECET qualified candidates. Candidate must have secured 50% marks in group subjects taken together in the qualifying examination (45% for reserved category).
After 10th DiplomaCandidates must have passed 10th examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or from any other recognised board in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects, and obtained at least 35% marks in the qualifying examination. Candidate must have passed all the subjects including Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, with minimum of 35% Marks in each subject. Candidates who appeared or are appearing for SSC or equivalent examination being held in March/April-2023, and whose results are yet to be declared are also eligible.

The gigantic KLR technology.
Placements: The highest package offered was around 8 LPA, and the lowest was 2.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Hyundai, Tata Motors, Bosch, Mahindra & Mahindra, Ashok Leyland, Tech Mahindra, L&T, and Accenture visited our college regularly. Around 65% of students from the mechanical engineering batch were successfully placed in various roles. The top roles offered from my branch were design engineer, production engineer, quality analyst, and maintenance engineer. Our college had around 40% of students who completed internships in reputed companies such as BHEL, Tata, and Bosch. Some students went abroad for higher education and jobs.
Infrastructure: The college had well-equipped laboratories for Thermodynamics, Fluid Mechanics, Strength of Materials, Manufacturing, CAD/CAM, and Robotics. The college had spacious classrooms with projectors, Wi-Fi support for digital learning. The college had a large departmental library with reference books, journals, and research papers for deeper knowledge. In our college, the hostel rooms were well maintained with proper ventilation, clean water, and Wi-Fi access. The college had 24/7 medical facilities available on campus. They have quick access to doctors and emergency care. Ambulance was also available. The college provided daily sports and games for students. The college had a wonderful canteen with a variety of items.
Faculty: The curriculum was updated and relevant to subjects like robotics and industrial training. All the students were ready for the industry. In our college, most of the faculty were highly qualified and explained concepts with real-life applications. The semester exams were very easy, and the faculty were very helpful in clearing all doubts. The pass percentage in our college was about 78%. Faculty often encouraged students to participate in workshops, projects, and research activities. The teaching quality was good, with a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical examples. Based on this knowledge, some students went outside.

Life at KLR Engineering College.
Placements: In our college, around 65-75% of students got placed from mining batches. In our college, the highest package was around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and also the lowest package was 1 LPA - 2 LPA for an anonymous offer. Top recruiting companies for our course were Coal India Limited, Singareni Collieries Company Limited, and Vedanta Resources. In our course, around 40-50% of students got internships. Top companies like NMDC, Local Mining Companies through college tie-ups, etc. Top roles offered in our course were graduate mining engineer trainee and mine planning and design engineer.
Infrastructure: Classrooms were spacious and well-ventilated with smart boards and projectors for better learning. Labs were well-equipped for all branches. In our course, high-speed Wi-Fi was available for students and staff. Computer labs had the latest systems with internet connection for practical and project work. Separate hostels were available for boys and girls with good accommodation. It provided 24X7 security. Hygienic food was provided in mess. Canteen was also available with snacks. First aid facilities were available on campus, and also tied up with the nearby hospital for emergencies. Sports and games were available on our campus.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most of them had good academic backgrounds. The curriculum was designed as per JNTUH guidelines, and was quite relevant to the present industry requirements. The semester exams were conducted under JNTU Hyderabad regulations. In our college, around 80-90% of the students passed out.

Placements: The top roles from my branch, mechanical engineering, are design engineer, manufacturing engineer, construction engineer, and many more. Almost 78% of the students got placed through campus drives in top companies like Tata Group, Tata Motors, Tech Mahindra, and many more. Some students took coaching in IT institutes for software. The highest package offered is 4 LPA, and the lowest offered is 1.8 LPA. Every year in our college, CRT training is provided by the college so we can write company exams easily, and for students, there is a TASK through which some students get placed.
Infrastructure: In our college, all the students and faculty must wear a uniform daily. In our college, there is a huge canteen with a variety of items at low prices and tasty items. The college has a wonderful laboratory with machines related to mechanics. The college has an NCC program; there will be a parade on every occasion. The college has mango trees around our buildings and a large playground for games and sports. In our college, sometimes blood donation programs are also conducted for social service.
Faculty: The course curriculum is relevant, and all the students are ready for the industry. Some of my friends went to the USA, the UK, and other countries for education and job purposes. Some of the students learned coding like Python, C, C++, and Java, and joined some top software companies. Our faculty are very good and teach life-changing things, and they are motivating to participate in activities that are held in our college. Almost 82% of the students passed in our branch. Our teachers are very friendly, and they teach practical situations and regular affairs, which are very understandable and easy to write exams for as well.

Top recruiting companies like Bajaj Electronics, AAB, Crompton, Wipro, Cognizant, and many more companies visit our college regularly. Top roles offered from my branch, EEE, are systems engineering, control engineering, and design engineering. Almost 80% of the students are placed in MNC companies in our branch.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our college is very good, and big coconut trees and a green garden are also there. College has well-equipped laboratories, motors, and machines. College has wonderful classrooms with projectors in each classroom and also open internet Wi-Fi access for all the students. College has a huge canteen with a variety of items at low prices. In our college, NCC is also there for the students with good training.
Faculty: In our college, we have well-experienced teachers and also some teachers with doctorates from reputable universities. They are well knowledgeable and they are teaching practical things which are very useful for our career. Pass percentage in our college is about 76%. With the knowledge of my faculty members, all the students are ready for the industries. Some of the students are planning to go abroad for higher education. Semester exams are going very easily by listening to my faculty's teaching.

The fabulous KLR Technology.
Placements: Almost 67% of the students from my branch civil engineering got placed in top companies. Top recruiting companies for my branch were L&T, Tata, Reliance, GMR Infrastructure, and many more companies visited our college regularly. The companies that offered the highest package were 6 LPA. The lowest offered was 3 LPA. From our college, around 55% of the students got internships at L&T, DLF, and many more. The roles offered from my branch were designing, construction, maintaining sites, etc. Most of the students got direct placements from our college through campus recruitment.
Infrastructure: College had good infrastructure with neat rooms and benches. It had good electricity facility. College had large laboratories with good equipments and machines. College had wonderful classrooms with projectors in every class with open Wi-Fi connection for all the students. It had a hostel facility for both boys and girls with quality food and a neat dormitory. College medical facilities were also available. An ambulance was also there for emergencies. College had a huge library with lots of books that were accessible to all the students for study. Canteen was also there.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were very excellent and well-qualified. Some of the faculty members were doctorate from reputed universities. By their teaching, all the students were ready for the industry. By their knowledge, all the students got a lot of grip on all the subjects. The course curriculum was relevant, and we gained a lot of knowledge from it. The semester exams were very easy in our college because of the teaching, so we could write very simply all the exams. The pass percentage in our college was about 87%. Faculty members were very helpful in all matters.

The devil of knowledge; it was a good experience.
Placements: I'm studying B.Tech EEE at KLR Institute of Technology. Any interpassed and MCET-approved candidate can join our college. The package is 30,000 per year for me from a private limited company. 7.6 percent of candidates can get jobs through college placements. EEE students can get jobs in various core companies.
Infrastructure: The water facility is available to students at all times, and the classroom is very neat. The quality of education is good, and understanding the topics that they are explaining to us is easy. Faculty: The faculty's explanation is good for students to understand and gain a lot of knowledge. The industry exposure provided by my college gives us a spectacular experience with KLR Institute of Technology. The environment is very green, as the college is surrounded by trees.
