Life at KLR Engineering College.

Placements: In our college, around 65-75% of students got placed from mining batches. In our college, the highest package was around 5 LPA - 6 LPA, and also the lowest package was 1 LPA - 2 LPA for an anonymous offer. Top recruiting companies for our course were Coal India Limited, Singareni Collieries Company Limited, and Vedanta Resources. In our course, around 40-50% of students got internships. Top companies like NMDC, Local Mining Companies through college tie-ups, etc. Top roles offered in our course were graduate mining engineer trainee and mine planning and design engineer.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were spacious and well-ventilated with smart boards and projectors for better learning. Labs were well-equipped for all branches. In our course, high-speed Wi-Fi was available for students and staff. Computer labs had the latest systems with internet connection for practical and project work. Separate hostels were available for boys and girls with good accommodation. It provided 24X7 security. Hygienic food was provided in mess. Canteen was also available with snacks. First aid facilities were available on campus, and also tied up with the nearby hospital for emergencies. Sports and games were available on our campus.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were well-qualified, knowledgeable, and supportive. Most of them had good academic backgrounds. The curriculum was designed as per JNTUH guidelines, and was quite relevant to the present industry requirements. The semester exams were conducted under JNTU Hyderabad regulations. In our college, around 80-90% of the students passed out.

The quality and infrastructure in our college should be improved.

Placements: There are not many placements in our college. Packages offered are below 2 Lakhs per annum. Sonoita Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., Erudite Soft Private Ltd., Technoware Pvt. Ltd., Avishkar Abovo Software Solutions, etc., companies came to the college for placements.

Infrastructure: The labs are available, but limited instruments are available for doing experiments. The hostel is good but too expensive. Food is not much great, but it's quite good to eat. There is no much space for playing sports and games, but one can participate in district-level tournaments. The college helps the students in sports.

Faculty: Our HOD is highly qualified and knowledgeable to run our branch. The curriculum is quite good and can make students knowledgeable. There should be more reliability to students in making them knowledgeable and experienced by providing more internships.

Other: In our state, many job opportunities are available for this course. Singareni is a government company, and we can have a better life if we get placed there. So, I chose the mining branch. For mining students, there should be more internships so that they get good skills and knowledge. Events and activities could be better.

Satisfied with the faculty and infrastructure.

Placements: There are placements for CSE, ECE, EEE, mech and civil.30-40% of students are placed. The highest salary offered is 23000 and the lowest is 12000. Companies like mahendra, Infosys, tata etc. Offered placements. Good chances of placements for the students.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure. Nice labs with good laboratory equipment. Classrooms are not bad. The library is good and makes a good environment for studying and lots of books offered. Good playground is available which makes students to play peacefully.

Faculty: Teachers are very much helpful. They are qualified and knowledgeable. Faculty is experienced one. The quality of teaching is nice. They use different methods of teaching like smart classes and field trips etc. The course curriculum is useful.

Other: Events and fests are conducted yearly based on department. Scholarship is given to the students.

Not a perfect one, waste of time, money.

Placements: For mining there are no placements in our college. But for the other batches there are placements. The companies like HP, Dell, Infosys etc. Came to our college for the placements. The highest package given in 10lakhs. Nearly @0-20% of the students got placements.

Infrastructure: Not bad infrastructure. Wi-Fi is weak and there are no games and sports. Labs are just good but not perfect. The food available in canteen is bad. Actually the canteen itself is bad. There are no medical facilities in our college. Hostel is bad. Bad infrastructure.

Faculty: Faculty is bad and not experienced. The students who have finished their studies in our college come as faculty without any experience. Only few are experienced. There are no field trips, if students are interested we should get permission from the respective companies to get internship.

Other: No events or fests.

5.2 of 10 points the college is good but more development is needed.

Placements: No placements for all branches in our lives college Only Diploma students getting placements in our college We Have good library and no faculty Good skill development according to KTR SCHEMES Only 6k to 10k salary to the students for placements The placements are not in our state they giving opportunity in Tamil Nadu only. The students are not willing to go to do for the salary of 10k.

Infrastructure: Good but no faculty the college officials are not willing to provide the professors in any branch they are looking for the cheap persons of less salary this result in poor education. If the college provide the good faculty the results will be up to mark according to last past 10 years the pass percentage is low in our college there is no development of students education in our college there only developing the infrastructure but no education in college.

Faculty: No faculty students prepare them selves There is JNTUH curriculum this is the syllabus of all branches As the course is full demand but the college must provide the M.Tech facility for students If the college provide the M.Tech there is good demand for that.

Other: Good library.
