The management needs to make teachers more qualified.

Placements: 75% of students are getting placed every year and rest of them are pursuing higher education but everyone should take their own efforts in semesters to get placements with good salary packages. At the end of every year, companies come to our college to recruit students.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good in our college and the library is vast and very useful. There is no wi-fi in our college. Hostel food needs to be improved. Sometimes our college imposes rules regarding mobile phone restriction inside the college. This shouldn't happen for the wellness of the students.

Faculty: Some teachers are qualified but some are not. Management should take a decision and qualify them a little more with regard to their characteristics. For the mental health of the students teachers need improvisation. Semester exams are not so hard and the question papers are from Bharathiyar University.

Other: I wanted to get a government job and this course would be useful for that. This is why I chose this course.

Review of Kongu Arts And Science College.

Placements: Some students were placed in good companies. We got BPO and teaching jobs for the course. Those who attended placement training were only eligible to attend interviews. Placements were based on the skills of students. Some were placed in 3 to 4 companies.

Infrastructure: The library would have had some more sources. Classrooms should be maintained in both the old blocks. Labs were useful. The mess and canteen contractor should be changed. They give importance to sports because they conduct both inter- and intra-college sports meets every year.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and strict. About 98% of students pass every semester. The course curriculum was up to the level. Semester exams were a bit tougher as the topper was too secure at 70% to 80% and not more than that. The paper correction was also too strict.

Other: Mobile phones should be allowed inside the campus for students in emergency situations.

I am highly satisfied with the infrastructure, discipline, dress code, etc.

Placements: Almost 65% of the students were placed in English Literature. The starting salary offered for the freshers was Rs. 10,000 per month to Rs. 25,000 per month. For our course, there were no top recruiting companies; instead, we get placed in teaching lines in schools or colleges. Students got a role like writing in various fields which were highly required nowadays. Almost 20% of the students got an internship and placed in TCS Chennai and local companies near their living place.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our campus is very good. Periodical cleaning is done every day for the whole campus. We can't find any unnecessary wastage inside and outside the classrooms. We don't have any Wi-Fi facilities, but we can use computers in labs for our reference. I am a day scholar, but my friends said that everything except the food was good at the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers support students, and they are well-knowledgeable in this field. Most of them have done their PhD and cleared various national and state-level entrance examinations. They can handle the classes more interestingly for long hours without making students bore. The course curriculum was relevant in every aspect.

Other: I have chosen this course to improve my knowledge in English. My ambition is to become a police officer so If I would clear my UPSC prelims exam then for Mains I can take English literature as an optional subject, and at that time it would be useful to me. The college should conduct grammar classes. Pongal and cultural fests are the major celebrations in our college. Our department also conducts many conferences, seminars, inter-college meet, etc.
