Best medical college for state quota students.
Placements: The placements are good. There are ample opportunities within the college. Interns are placed in the college itself and also in Subhashgram Rural Hospital and Beleghata ID Hospital. The college arranges regular seminars and research opportunities that help in building connections.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is fair and one of the best among the medical colleges present in Kolkata. The academic building has 4 floors and 6 lecture theatres, which are both AC and non-AC. There is a library, badminton court, and a multipurpose grass ground for cricket, football, and other sports.
Faculty: The faculty is one of the best, if not the best, in the state. The curriculum is well-rounded and the professors are helpful. The professors are qualified, knowledgeable, and hold important positions among fellow colleagues in other colleges. The semester exams are of moderate difficulty and the pass percentage is high.

Good college for people who really wanted to learn medicine, otherwise, don’t join.
Placements: More or less 60 percent of students were placed in my course. The package for placement in government hospitals was 50–60,000 per annum. In private sectors, the payment was more. Top recruiting companies were Apollo. All students got internships (if they passed the final professional exam). The role of doctor was offered. That was the ultimate goal, and we were all studying to become good doctors.
Infrastructure: Our hostel and college had no Wi-Fi facility. The library had Wi-Fi but with a limit of 30 MB, which was very less. Classrooms were big, airy, and air-conditioned. We had a badminton court. Food quality in the college canteen was average, with some hygiene issues.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful and qualified. They were always willing to help and clear our doubts. As it was a professional course, it made students hospital-ready. Semester exams were pretty difficult. Around 70 percent of the students passed these exams. Overnight study sessions were very common, with too many class tests, assignments, projects, and whatnot. Some departments were very strict about attendance as well.
Other: I chose this course because it had a higher placement rate. Doctors were needed in this country. The best thing about this course was that we got to see the side of life no one else could. This course could have been better; they could have added more extracurricular activities because studying was too exhausting. Events were average, very basic. I was in this college for the last 3 years, and only 2 events happened during that time. The college didn’t even give a student email ID, so we could not access student discounts.

College is not bad. Academically it is best in West Bengal, in my opinion.
Placements: It's quite well actually. Many pass out from this college and score good results in NEET PG exam. Though the patient flow is quite good in our hospital, still it's comparatively low compared to other government colleges in West Bengal. In my opinion, our college is best regarding academics in West Bengal.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our academic building is quite good. All departments, laboratories, lecture theatres, demonstration rooms, and dissection halls are in quite good condition. The hostel hygiene is terrible though. Proper management of hostel is a must need. Though it's in better condition than many government college hostels, still more maintenance is needed to be done.
Faculty: Faculty members are genuinely very nice in our colleges. They are kind and helpful and most of them give proper efforts in their teaching and our doubt learnings so that we can understand any concepts properly. They also plan our academic framework very well, much better than WB government colleges actually.
Other: I chose this course because it was my last option. I wish they provided us with more time to self-study because I believe the study of 19 subjects can't be completed within 4.5 years.

KPC Medical College and Hospital is a top private medical college in West Bengal.
Placements: I am a first-year student at KPC Medical College. After completing the course, all students go for an internship and are then placed in various hospitals, both government and private, as medical officers. The highest salary is Rs. 80,000 per month, and the average salary for a fresher is Rs. 55,000 per month.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good and well-maintained. Wi-Fi facility is available in the classrooms for a limited time. Labs and classrooms are clean and high-tech. The hostel has 2 bed accommodations. There is a mess in the hostel where you can get food according to your budget. A playground is also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful and knowledgeable. They are experts in their field. All professors are qualified doctors. Many PCT and internal exams take place. In the first year, there are three semesters, with each subject carrying 200 marks, including practicals. After these three semesters, the final proficiency exam is held, with each subject carrying 300 marks.
Other: A fest takes place every year, along with a fresher’s event and many other programs.

Overall, KPC Medical College and Hospital is a great choice for students looking for MBBS seats.
Placements: In the MBBS degree, there are no placements but the undergraduate pass-out rates are very high and very admirable. The seniors I know are well-trained and have mostly gotten into good post-graduate colleges. I also hope to get a high scope into a good post-graduate medical school.
Infrastructure: Facilities for students are very good and almost top-class. The lecture halls are air-conditioned with ample space, abundant lighting, fans, and enough windows for ventilation. The canteen named The Tray is very good and provides good food not only for students but also for the visiting people.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good and friendly. They are mostly doctors. They are highly trained and respected. Professors are very helpful and do almost everything to help students become good doctors. Semesters held are a bit tough but this only helps students in their university exams.
Other: I chose MBBS to pursue my father's career and move the line of doctors in our blood. Fests here are of high quality and with great stars appearing over the years.

This college is very affordable and has excellent faculty members.
Placements: The majority of students are placed in MBBS courses. This college also provides nursing courses. All students do their internships here.
Infrastructure: The hostel is very economical. There are no air-conditioned rooms in the hostel. The food served in the mess is average and not suitable for vegetarians. Vegetarians will have to depend on online food services or tiffin systems. Classrooms are good, spacious, and air-conditioned.
Faculty: Teachers are well qualified. The teaching medium is primarily Bengali. Semesters are hard but they are required for you to get ready for the main exam. Professors are skilled doctors and they teach us very sincerely. We also get exposure to patients.
Other: It is an MBBS course so you will eventually end up doing a job.
