Balanced College Experience with Good Infrastructure, Decent Faculty, and Average Placement.
Placements: I had the opportunity to pursue my Bachelor of Computer Applications at this college, and overall, it has been a balanced experience. The college boasts a decent placement percentage, ranging from 60-75%, with a batch size of around 180 out of 300 students in my graduating year, 2027-2028. Students have various paths after graduation, including options for higher studies, off-campus jobs, startups, and freelancing. The salary packages are competitive, with the highest package reaching between 8-10 LPA, an average package around 3-4.5 LPA, and the lowest package at 2.5 LPA.
Infrastructure: In terms of infrastructure, the college offers well-equipped labs that have updated desktop systems and provide lab support for programming classes. The internet-enabled systems are a plus, though the campus Wi-Fi can slow down during peak hours. Classrooms are spacious and well-furnished, equipped with projectors to enhance the learning experience. The environment is clean and well-maintained, and the large central library offers extensive journal and research material along with digital resources. The hostel facilities are satisfactory, with separate accommodations for boys and girls, featuring basic but clean rooms, though security and discipline are strictly enforced. The mess provides hygienic food, primarily South Indian with some basic North Indian options, the taste is average. On a positive note, students often prefer the canteen for a wider variety of snacks.
Faculty: The faculty at the college are qualified and knowledgeable, which greatly enhances the learning experience. The semester exams are designed to be manageable, allowing students to score good marks with regular attendance and study. The curriculum effectively prepares students for the industry by offering diverse courses and internship opportunities. The overall pass percentage is commendably high, reflecting the support provided by the faculty.
Other: Fests are some, like ethnic day and some graduation day ending. .

Absolutely do not join, the teachers will make you rethink why you joined here.
Placements: Around 20% of students have been placed, but the rest are trying to find on their own. The lowest package, probably 2 LPA, the average would be 3-4 LPA, and the highest 6-7 LPA. Cloud architect, devops etc., roles are offered. Accenture is the top recruiter. I would say almost everyone got an internship because it was not paid.
Infrastructure: The labs available by the college are good, you can use the labs up to 8:30. The Wi-Fi is available, but no one has it, as you have to go and request Wi-Fi access from the department, which is then provided. Classrooms are good. The only thing is I doubt whether the cleaning staff cleans, I find it littered every time.
Faculty: Teachers might have a good degree, but they lack in explaining concepts. I do think so, but all are mixed up, so we should find out how to connect the dots. The course is relevant, it does but after a point, the students should figure it out on their own.

A good college experience with good infrastructure.
Placements: KJU have a placement record of more than 150 companies, including Amazon, JP Morgan, EY and KPMG. We get training before placements, and proper interviews are taken. The minimum annual salary of an undergraduate student is 6.5 LPA, and for post-graduates is 8 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are new blocks and new colleges being built for new students with a lot of modern technologies. College provides hostels, but they are not that good. They force students to stay at hostels at a high price.
Faculty: All faculty members are well-qualified and approachable. Many have industrial experience that makes the course more connected to real-world applications. Exams follow a pattern with tests, assignments, presentations, mid-semester and end-of-semester examinations.
Other: KJU provides a student-friendly environment with plenty of opportunities, and that is the reason I gave priority to choose this college. There is only one fest, which is the Ethnic Day, which is equal to having many.

My college life at Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: I don't know exactly about placements because I am still a first-year student. I heard placements are very decent. We have a proper dedicated placement cell for assistance and preparation for interviews. Placements are 90% of our last passed-out batch. The average package is 6.5 LPA which is very good for a bachelor's degree. Top recruiting companies like Azure, Cognizant, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., visit the college for placements. Top roles offered are data analyst, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very nice and clean. We have Wi-Fi covering the whole college. There are beautiful libraries in every department and building. Only our science block looks very old and classrooms feel like some old government hospital. Though it is clean but lacks modernisation. Sports facility is average because it is 1 kilometer away from a sports arena if we want to play football or basketball.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and knowledgeable but are very strict. They will make us run like dogs for assignments and will penalise us for our attendance if we feel any convenience from our side. The course curriculum is more or less relevant only and it makes students industry-ready. They only provide the necessary skills. Semester exams are easy even if we are an average student.
Other: I chose this course because of its good national ranking. The best thing is that the course fee is organised and well paid. Teachers and faculty members could be more lenient and understanding. Events are very rare but they are like a whole festival. The campus is beautiful and surroundings have many fun places to chill and hang out.

I am satisfied with the campus life and faculty members.
Placements: I am in the first year, but I have heard that placements are given in the third year. The average package is 3 LPA, and it is quite a good package for a fresh start. There are plenty of internships in the second year, but there is not much in the first year. The highest package offered is 25 LPA.
Infrastructure: I am studying in the BCA course. We need to use a lot of computers, so my department has around 5 computer labs which we often use. Classrooms are huge as they fit around 72 students. There is a library in each block with more than 70,000 books, which is quite a lot. The hostel I stay in is a college hostel, which costs Rs. 89,000 per year. It is quite good as I am staying in a single-sharing room, but toilets are pretty bad. There is no mess in the hostel. I eat from an outside mess.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and knowledgeable but are not that helpful. There are around 72 students in one class, and one teacher is teaching us. It is kind of hard to concentrate. In my college, the classes are there only for half a day, either in the morning or in the afternoon. Exams are quite hard but can be cracked. The pass percentage is 33%.
Other: I chose BCA because I like coding and would like to learn more about computer life. The best thing about my course is that I can learn different languages understood by the computer and can create many new things with the help of it. It would have been better if they started teaching us about app development and giving us projects to improve. Every semester, there is a test from our department. There are plenty of scholarships.

Life at Kristu Jayanti College, Bengaluru.
Placements: I'm still in my first year, so I'm yet to know the placement scenario firsthand. But from what I've heard, it is really very convenient. The average package last year for my Bachelor's course was 6.5 LPA. The top recruiting companies included Amazon, Microsoft, Dell, Cognizant, etc. The roles offered in my course include data analyst, software engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: The overall infrastructure of the college is amazing. The campus is really clean and green. Labs are equipped with cutting-edge technology and Wi-Fi. Classrooms are ventilated and spacious. There's a state of the art library in each and every department of the college.
Faculty: The teachers are really helpful and friendly, and they are available to discuss any problems or doubts during the college. The course is totally worth it, the faculty is really knowledgeable, and they know what they're teaching. It directly prepares you for what questions they might ask in the interview, so know that garbage bookish learning is there. Semester exams are easy only any average student with little effort can pass the exams easily.
Other: I got to know about this course through Google. I researched for rankings, and this was ranked 4th for my course by the Times of India. The best thing is the confidence you get from the rules and regulations you have to follow every day. Sometimes it gets on your nerves, but it's for our good only. The faculty, though I believe, could be a little more lenient about attendance. The events and fests bring out the best of this college. It's like a whole festival. The surroundings have a nice cafe, restaurants, and game zones to spend time with your friends.
