Everything you need to know about Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: Not sure of the placement as I'm still in my first year. But there are a lot of opportunities which the college promises to provide for enhancing students' experience in different fields. For the first years, there are opportunities to do internships in various NGOs.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good, I would say, as they call it a green campus. Facilities like Wi-Fi, a sports arena, and a library are on every block of the campus. The college has really good auditoriums with centralized AC. There are different cafeterias for each block in the campus with good food, I would say.
Faculty: The faculty members here are well-experienced in their field. The quality of the teaching is also great. As a first year, we have a lot of commerce subjects compared to law subjects, but to be honest, both the teaching staff are great. The college conducts mid-sem exams for the students before the semester exams for practice purposes.
Other: The course I went for is B.Com LL.B., and the reason for me to take up this course was that I was interested in reading law and wanted to see myself in the litigation field.

Good placements in 2023 and great infrastructure.
Placements: This college does provide placements. Almost 40% of students were placed. The highest package is around 4lk per annum and average would be 3.5lk, there's no the lowest package. But if you go for litigation then you'll get only 2k-3k per month. Top recruiting companies are HDFC, law veritas, etc. Internships are done by all students in every semester, it is mandatory under Karnataka state law university. Top roles offered in our course is legal associate, manager, assistant manager, etc.
Infrastructure: The course is well structured for 10 semesters. Also every class is equipped with blackboard and projector with whiteboards. There are 2 libraries of which one is law library. It is very huge and has thousand of books, references, journals, case lawns, etc. College hostels are fine, food quality is also fine. Most of the students choose PG's or flats as there won't be any curfew if you are staying alone or with friends. College also provides paid gym.
Faculty: Faculty members are fine, some are really good, some are not that skilled to be a teacher eventho they have knowledge of the subject. The course curriculum is very relevant, it does makes students thorough with theory but to get experience, they should go to court to observed and experience more. Semester exams are tough but can be managed. Mid term exams are really easy as they are conducted by the college itself. For university exam, the passing mark is 32 out of 80.
Other: I chose this course as I wanted to know and study about lawns and have atleast basic knowledge. A lot of events happen in our college like college day, ethnic day, cultural fests, national moot competitions, etc.

    Really good Infrastructure.
Placements: The placements for the law department are very bad as compared to Kristu Jayanti College, which is autonomous. Just four companies came for placements in the previous academic year and just eight out of 90 students got placed in different companies. The students who got placed will get a salary of approximately Rs. 250000 per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure that is available at the college is awesome. The college provides Wi-Fi, labs, highly advanced classrooms and a library. The college provides sports and games facilities, Gym and a canteen for the students. There are no hostels available for boys. But for girls, hostel facilities are there.
Faculty: The teachers that are available at the college are highly qualified, helpful and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Since my course is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University, the exams are very tough and difficult to pass.

Good infrastructure, good facilities, faculty members can be better.
Placements: 15-20 students are taken for placements who did not have any backlog. Not having backlogs is a must. There are reputed corporate companies and also other law firms. Internships are done by every student after each semester. It is a compulsory criteria for Karnataka state law university as kjcl comes under them. Top roles baged by the students are manager, assistant manager, associate in law firms, etc.
Infrastructure: There is moot court available which is well-equipped. Also classrooms are well-equipped with projectors. Also there is a huge library for the law students with variety of bare facts, books, articles, case law books, etc. Hostel is okay. There is mess available in the college hostels, and also gym facility is available in the college.
Faculty: Few teachers are not really good. But then there are other few who are great and teach well. This course curriculum is relevant and it does make students industry ready because for that they should have court visits regularly and should be doing work there under any firms, which is also mandatory carried out in the time table for the law students.
Other: This course offers a very good base for legal background and also offers basics of accounting. Everything is good as of now. There are many events and fests that happen in college.

Kristu Jayanti College is still new and is developing.
Placements: Around 60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 2 LPA, and the lowest salary was 20,000 per month. Most of the students were able to apply for internships and get placed, but companies were not that reputed. So, I'm not very sure about the placement offers.
Infrastructure: The course is decent, and it's still developing, but the law library is very good. It has good facilities. It has good library, classrooms and other facilities. The hostels are bad, and I would recommend staying in a paying guest instead of the hostel.
Faculty: The faculty and university are a bit bad as they still require training, and this course is pretty relevant and has good demand when it comes to relation to company law. The exams are not that hard, but every subject is very vast.

    Review of Kristu Jayanti College.
Placements: The 1st batch has not graduated yet, there is a placement call going on for the 9th semester. But to sit in the placement cell in the 9th sem you should clear all the papers, But 80% of the students don't clear,
Infrastructure: Our college has a good infrastructure, and there are 2 blocks in the college. The main and the admin block. College of law is located in the admin block. We have a good canteen facility and a hostel is available. If you are a sports person don't join the college of law as there are less opportunities for you here.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified, but even the teachers know that university is corrupt and the mode of evaluation is not correct, and any LL.B. course you take here it comes under Karnataka State Law University, and they evaluate paper for just sake of money. Many of the students left due to failing and due to the high rate of backlogs. The moot court in our college is sometimes used as dance room and have been there once but in 2nd year may be due to pandemic) but college has just started and 1st batch has not graduated so might improve in future. The paper pattern is 80-20 now where 20 marks are from internals and assignments, and rest 80 marks is from external where papers go for correction to KSLU luck plays an important role of failing and passing. The paper pattern is weird, for 10 marks you get 5 questions, and for 6 marks also you get 5 questions. It has a simple paper pattern but for 10 marks you should write a minimum 6 pages don't even know those who correct or evaluate the paper even read. Don't expect 2 marks or 1 mark or 3 markers questions. The pass percentage is very less even those who complete the course will not get more than 70 %. All pass after semester exams goes around, your the person who likes law subject and wants to do law only then take up or opt for the course or you might regret later. The rest of 80 marks are from externals.
Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. This is a 5 years professional program. The best thing about the course is only the law subject till the 5th semester you have a commerce-related subject of your B.Com and after that, the course focuses on law-based subjects. More programs and law-related activities should be give. More information to students about the programs should be given Students should be motivated as after 1 st semester students feel they did mistake and change the course. Events and fest are very less, but there is section every Saturday where knowledgeable persons from the law background come and speaks about certain topics. They don't provide extracurricular activities. But in every odd semester there is a 1-month compulsory internship, which is the interesting part of this course.
