My honest review about my college.

Placements: Each student can easily have 2-3 offers from big IT giants. Aricent and Nagarro are bulk hiring companies. Lots of our alumni make it to Adobe, Microsoft, Amazon, etc. Most of the students here are now working with big names in the IT industry. So, we can say that once you get admission here, you get your future settled.

Infrastructure: I stay on rent. Hostel is quite good as said by my classmates. There are single as well as shared rooms. Food is not that great. I don't know about the fee structure.

Faculty: It is the toughest course I have ever attended or heard of someone. Every mark earned there in 3 years is hard-earned. Professors don't allow to cheat or copy internet-available assignments. Each semester has 5-6 subjects. Each subject have 100 marks. Out of this major semester exam holds 60 marks, while 20 marks are from internal exams, and 20 marks are based on assignments. Total marks are 3000 in all 6 semesters. Create a lot of interest in subjects. While the department's faculty members set high targets for students. They assign very difficult assignments to students every semester. The course is quite complex. But the teaching methodology adopted here focuses on both practical and theoretical aspects.

My Review About This College .

Placements: Placements are appreciated in our college. Over 30 companies visit the campus regularly. I also secured a placement through campus recruitment. We will receive a good package, and there are ample opportunities to work in multinational companies. Job placement criteria include an average of 60% marks across all semesters and an attendance average of 85%. The starting average package is around 2.5 Lacs per year, with the highest for my batch being 12.5 Lacs, primarily in sales and commerce. Companies that visited the campus include HDFC, Unacademy, Bajaj, Flipkart, Novotel, and Amazon.

Infrastructure: Kristu Jayanti has many variety of course offered to under graduation and post graduation students which include B.Com BBA BCA B.Sc. psychology, law, MBA, M.Com Arts. The college will try to add or remove subjects according to the corporate changes. It's a 4 trimester course and we have midterm and end trimester exams for one trimester. There are no hostels undertaken by the college. But there are many hostels, PGs around the college some of which is recommended by tge college to the students. A rate of 3.8 out of 5 to the hostels. The infrastructures are good and facilities vary with respect to the hostels.

Faculty: The faculty of this college is amazing, they help you when ever you need, and the knowledge that the faculty carries is mind-blowing, it was a very good experience for me to have such talented and dedicated teachers, being said they were strict as well. All the faculty members are well qualified. Trimester every semester will be having 7 to 8 subjects with additional extra courses and online course, first year we will be learning about all the electives I mean mixture of functional areas then 2nd year we can select our electives we can choose duel specialisation.

My college's honest review.

Placements: The placement of the college is not that great; only a few law firms have approached the college so far. The highest package is 2-3 lakhs per annum. There are no top recruiting companies; only boutique law firms approach the college for placements. The percentage of students who get placed is very low, around 5-6%.

Infrastructure: The college provides all the basic resources that can be availed by students. It has a library, sports courts, etc. The infrastructure of the college is also good. The whole campus is green and environmentally friendly. The college also encourages different sports and other events.

Faculty: The faculty of the college is really friendly, except for a few. They treat us very well. The faculty teaches us properly and ensures that the syllabus is completed on time. The college conducts mid-term exams in every semester, and the final semester exam is conducted by the university.

Placements: Placement of KJC is excellent, as it being one of the best commerce college. The highest package is 27 LPA, where as 3 LPA being the lowest. Top recruiting companies at Kristu Jayanti College include TCS, Infosys, Amazon, Wipro, Tech Mahindra, IBM, Accenture, Deloitte, ICICI Bank, Axis Bank, Cognizant, and HCL Technologies. In B.Com sector, the internships are on us. We are allowed to do our internships at any company except schools and colleges. Top roles offered in finance, marketing, HR, IT and software, banking and finance, and consulting.

Infrastructure: Kristu Jayanti College has a well-equipped campus with modern infrastructure, including Wi-Fi connectivity, state-of-the-art labs, spacious classrooms, and a comprehensive library. Labs are equipped with the latest technology and tools. While the classrooms are designed to facilitate effective learning. Library boasts a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources, providing students with a wealth of information to support their academic pursuits. The quality and facilities of KJC are all top notch, no compromises with the quality, everything is first class, looks and feels premium.

Faculty: Teachers are friendly and cooperative. Teaching skills are good and understandable. KJC's course curriculum is industry-relevant and designed to make students industry-ready with practical skills, faculty expertise, and industry interactions. Semester exams are based on your preparations. According to me, they are all easy, I would say the pass percentage must be 95-98%.

Other: I liked numbers and accounts so I chose B.Com. My course is not extremely hard but it has a little weightage. I guess nothing is required for improvement. There are many events and fests happening everyday in college, among which the ethnic day is the main. Its more like a festival. Surroundings are nice and peaceful with a lot of PGs around.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Approximately 75-85% of students were placed in my course. The highest package was around 10 LPA, the lowest was around 3 LPA, and the average was 4-6 LPA. Top recruiters included TCS, Infosys, Wipro, and Capgemini. About 60-70% got internships in firms like Deloitte, EY, and various startups.

Infrastructure: The facilities for the course were good, featuring Wi-Fi, well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a resourceful library. The hostels are decent, providing basic amenities. The mess food is average but hygienic, and the canteens offer a variety of options. Medical and sports facilities are satisfactory.

Faculty: The teachers are generally qualified and knowledgeable, offering strong support. The quality of teaching is decent. The curriculum is fairly relevant and aims to prepare students for industry demands. Semester exams are moderately challenging, with a pass percentage of around 75-85%.

Other: I chose this course due to a strong interest and career potential. The highlights include practical exposure, updated subjects, and supportive faculty. There is a need for improvement in industry connections and internship opportunities. Campus life is vibrant, featuring great festivals, a lively crowd, and active clubs. Connectivity is decent, and the surroundings are peaceful. Scholarships and extracurricular activities receive solid support.

Review of Kristu Jayanti College.

Placements: No good placements with good package. If the companies come to the college also, they are not hiring many students. If they are hiring them also, they are not getting the package as they expected to get for their skills. Even they give timelines in their company after hiring.

Infrastructure: Ok, but food is not good because the majority of the students are from Kerala so only the people who are from Karnataka and Andhra won't get their proper food. Rooms are big and spacious with attached bathrooms, but some hostels are so far from the college.

Faculty: Teachers are not helpful in the time of exam; they won't help us write answers; it is good but they will help in filling out the answer sheet with our details. Exams are difficult unless you study. They even take fee for exams for the booklets.

Other: In our country, there are no festivals celebrated as it is Christian college; the people who are from other religions can't celebrate our festival. But they celebrate more Kerala festivals and Christian festivals.
