Master of Social Work (MSW) - Batch of 2022
4.2
One of the finest colleges of my life .
Placements: There is one of the best placements in SRCC. The placement cell does its work professionally and provides you with various corporate communications opportunities on a regular basis. But the thing is, you personally must have the skills to crack high placements. The college will provide you with a better opening; you just have to grab it.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is very pretty; the rooms are always clean and hygienic, and the AC is always working. I personally like the sports complex; you can do anything there. There is also a good gym with a separate cardio room (not too big). Talking about hostels, there is no AC in boys' hostels; it can get difficult to stay there in the summer. Overall, it's pretty good.
Faculty: We have a very well-qualified faculty. Most of the teachers are nice and very helpful. Their teaching quality is also top-notch. You must be regular in classes and you won't need YouTube videos to help you in your studies. The exams are conducted every semester.

The college has a lot of sports equipment.
Placements: The placement period starts in the month of November every year and lasts up to February. The circuital branch students get a lot of chances in the placements compared to the students from the remaining branches. The average package is around some 24 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: There are a lot of festivals, including the ethnic day, Christmas, and all. There is a total of 4 libraries on the campus with around 70,000 books in each. There are basketball courts on the college campus and a sports arena 1 km away with volleyball, cricket, and a football ground.
Faculty: The faculty-to-student ratio is 1 per 30 students. That's pretty good; the teachers are approachable. I love my department; all the teachers are understanding. The physical education department is the best! There is one mid-semester exam followed by the final semester exams. The difficulty varies from subject to subject (easy to moderate to hard in some cases).

Nice college with good faculty members.
Placements: From the 4th semester, students were eligible to sit on campus placements. Many companies visited our campus, like ASA Infratech, Axtria, GAIL India Ltd, and HCL Software, etc. The highest package went up to 28 LPA, and the average package was around 6 LPA. Placement percentage rate was 80%.
Infrastructure: Hostel rooms were mandatory and were on a sharing basis. We had 2 and 3-seater room sharing. All the amenities were available for the children: daily cleaning, AC, oven, washing machines, etc. The cleanliness and safety of students were the utmost priority of the college. A 24X7 guard and CCTV were also there, and a strong network Wi-Fi facility was also provided.
Faculty: Faculty members were highly qualified and well-experienced here. All teachers had Ph.D. degree. They use PPTs in lectures, and the teaching skills of faculty were very decent. They easily taught us the difficult things. Exams here were very difficult for those who did not attend daily lectures. If you could attend lectures, you could easily score high marks in the exam. Class size was 53, and course fee was INR 80,000 per year.
Other: The subject that I chose was social work. The department was providing opportunities for internships and field work, which were helping to connect with society and to apply the learning and theoretical knowledge in the real world.

Absolutely satisfied because of placement, faculty and good facilities etc.
Placements: Although we are MSW students but we get jobs in HR and accounts department. 100% from batch got internship in different organisation such as Baptist hospital, shishu mandir, kinder women hospital, ACSEN agriscience companies. HIL limited, Deloitte, mindtree, JP morgan like Teach companies also offer jobs in HR department, 70% students get placed. Package is every year varies mostly depend on company. But for now I am happy with college placement support.
Infrastructure: I like college facilities but strict rules and regulations, college campus is good buts sports ground is far from campus. Internet is there but search data is monitored, classrooms are good but there is hospital like sell in classes. Library have biometric identification for enter and exam very strict rules no headphone allowed, no noise. There are many options for stay but college provide hostel facility I stay in hostel. B.Ed is give I divided carry your own pillow, hostel GATE is close in earlier, dining hall for eating food quality of food is good 4 times food in day including 1 time snacks.
Faculty: We are 40 students in class, there is 4 faculty members as head of the department. Every faculty companies Ph.D. and three of them NET exam qualifiers. There is total 4 semester and exam is take place in every 4 months, MSW is available in three specialisation 1. Human resource management, 2. Social development, 3. Medical and psychiatric social work o choose HR. Exams are easy to pass mostly average, almost all students above 95% gets passed.
Other: I research and found this course have future scope for MSW it have many government jobs and I choose HR socialization also with us appropriate for MBA so I have two options that is main reason to choosing course.

College placement is very good.
Placements: The campus placements are available at the college and from the third semester on, students can attend the campus placement Different companies with very good packages are approaching the college every year, and the number of placement opportunities is also growing.
Infrastructure: The college has Ethnic Day, PG fest, Arts Fest, etc. There are ample opportunities available for students to showcase their talents. Expert lectures and conferences are more real. There are three libraries, and plenty of books are available there. The college has very good infrastructure in all the arenas.
Faculty: I am currently enrolled in the MSW program at KJC, where the class size ranges from 40 to 60 students. The faculty members are exceptionally qualified and experienced in their respective fields. They employ modern teaching techniques, including the use of PowerPoint presentations and videos during lectures. Examinations are conducted punctually, and the results are promptly published, reflecting the effort we invest in our studies.

Teachers are very polite with students.
Placements: Almost 60-70% of the students get placed and around 30-40% of the students get the internships. Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester. The average package offered is 2-6 Lacs per annum and the highest package offered is 9-20 Lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi service available in college and college hostel, labs and classrooms are good. Library facility is available from morning to evening. Quality of the food available in the mess and canteen is good, medical facilities are good and many sports are available.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified and helpful and knowledgeable. Course curriculum is relevant, but more practical experiences needed to make the students industry ready. Semester exams are not so difficult to get passing marks and exams are taken twice in every year.

I appreciate the placement cell of this college.
Placements: The university prepares students for recruitment with various resume writing workshops and group discussions. Internships are also provided to students who intern at an NGO working on children's nutrition. This allows them to practically apply their social work knowledge in the field. Students are also placed at the Social Welfare Ministry and work with various think tanks of the government in designing the country's social policy.
Infrastructure: The hostel will be spacious, with four beds in one room, separate cupboards, a separate study table, and common washrooms shared by four students. The meals are very hygienic and tasty, with non-veg served twice a week. Registration is done on the date of joining, and faster joining is preferred for better rooms.
Faculty: Course Curriculum: The course structure is designed with a major focus on fieldwork. Weekly fieldwork is scheduled, where students are required to visit NGOs and social institutions during their course duration. In my first year, I visited 10 NGOs and social institutions, teaching kids and helping them learn the value of life. During the first year, we were taught the historical roots of professional social work in America and England. We were also taught the influence of philosophy on the development of social work professions in India. This enables us to develop a global understanding of social work and its relevance in the present scenario. Class Size: 50 Course Fees: INR 45,000 per year.

Faculty are very supportive and nice and the placement cell of this college is also very nice.
Placements: They have arranged a campus interview in the middle of the fourth semester. Approximately half of the batch students were given this opportunity. The package was good and awesome. Nearly 70% of students got this opportunity. I have completed my project work on plantation workers' job satisfaction. After graduation, I moved to work.
Infrastructure: For master students, 1 room per head is provided and the size of the room is decent (12 x 8), or may be enough for one person. A table, chair, fan and almirah are provided. For registration, you have to check the notice on the college site and pay online. Rooms are allotted on a first-come, first-served basis. A meal is good, healthy and tasty to eat. The locality is good; all the facilities are available but they're also affordable to students.
Faculty: I chose this course due to its growth opportunity. There are 4 faculty members, including the Head of the Department for 45 students. The curriculum is well organized and it has good-quality content. Every faculty member completed a Ph.D., and three of them completed the NET exam. Exams will take place over 4 months, and there are a total of 4 semester exams. They will also conduct the model exams. And the exams are easy to pass if you attend the lectures. Class Size: 45 Course Feels: INR 80000 per year.
