School Hosts Guest Lecture on ‘Future Business Analytics’
January 16, 2020: The PGDM Department of Krupanidhi College of Management invited Abhishek who is working as Leader HR Analytics at Amazon to deliver a lecture on how Data Analytics and Data Science works in an organisation. He explained that Data Science is the inter-functional technology used to derive information and insight from structured and unstructured data using techniques, procedures and structures. Data Science has to do with Big Data and Data Mining.
He educated students on the importance of forecasting based on which he further explained about RFM (Recency, Frequency and Monetary) which means to analyse customers buying habits, buying frequency, expenditure and CLTV (Customer Lifetime Value) which works as a parameter to measure the success of customer relationship management. He also discussed the scope of Data Science and analytics in the future.
