L M College of Pharmacy (LMCP Ahmedabad) is one of the premier pharmaceutical and research institutes of Gujarat, established in 1947. The institute is affiliated to Gujarat Technological University (GTU Ahmedabad) and is approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI). The institute is associated with Zydus Hospitals, Ahmedabad to train its pharmaceutical graduates.
L M College of Pharmacy Admission Process 2026: Highlights
The institute offers BPharm and PharmD at UG, MPharm at PG, and PhD at the doctorate level. Besides these, the institute also offers DPharm to students as a grant-in-aid programme. LM College of Pharmacy (LMCP) is located in Ahmedabad and was founded by the Ahmedabad Education Society. The College offers a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) programme with 90 seats. Eligibility requires scoring above 80% in both board and GUJCET exams, with GUJCET scores considered for admission. Admission to B.Pharm is done on the basis of a valid score obtained in the NEET-UG entrance examination.
To meet the minimum eligibility criteria, candidates must pass their Class 12 board examination from a recognised board with a minimum aggerate of 45% marks in the Science stream (40% for reserved category students). However, since LM College of Pharmacy is highly competitive, the actual aggregate of students who secure admission is typically much higher, often above 75% to 80%.
