Q:   How to check LM College of Pharmacy GPAT cutoff 2026?
A:

The official LM College of Pharmacy MPharm cutoff trends are released online by ACPC Gujarat rather than college itself. To check the 2026 cutoffs, candidates need to visit the official ACPC portal after the counselling rounds begin. ACPC uploads the course-wise and category-wise opening and closing ranks as downloadable PDG documents under the MPharm section. The actual 2026 cutoffs will release right after the Round 1 allotment results are announced in late July, allowing candidates to see the exact ranks accepted for specialisations.

Q:   Can a non-GPAT student secure a highly competitive branch at LMCP MPharm?
A:

Statistically, it is extremely difficult. Because GPAT-qualified candidates are granted absolute preference and occupy the top of the provisional merit list, high-demand branches like Pharmaceutics and Pharma Technology are usually filled completely by GPAT rankers during Round 1. Non-GPAT candidates via the Gujarat PGCET generally get access to remaining choices or branches where vacancies are available.

Q:   Is admission open for MPharm at LM College of Pharmacy?
A:

The initial online centralised registration process through ACPC Gujarat for LMCP MPharm closed on May 30, 2026. However, the admission cycle remains highly active. For non-GPAT candidates who registered the state-level Gujarat PGCET, the exam is typically held in late June or early July. Candidates who have already submitted their applications should keep tracking the official ACPC website for the declaration of the provisional merit list and subsequent choice-filling counselling rounds in July.

Q:   Is Gujarat PGCET difficult from GPAT exam?
A:

No, the Gujarat PGCET is not more difficult than GPAT exam. GPAT is highly competitive national-level entrance exam that test deep analytical, conceptual and multi-statement problems. On the other hand, the Gujarat PGCET is a state-level exam that primarily include direct, memory-based, and straightforward multiple-choice questions based directly on standard BPharm textbooks. If candidates have prepared well for GPAT, they will generally find the Gujarat PGCET paper much easier.

Q:   Can I get direct admission in LMCP BPharm?
A:

No, candidates cannot apply directly on the college website for government-quota seats. The entire admission process is handled by a central state body called the Admission Committee for Professional Courses (ACPC), Gujarat. Candidates must register on the official ACPC portal, fill out their choices, and wait for the seat allotment by ACPC based on their merit rank.

Q:   What if a candidate miss the deadline for online choice-filling during counselling?
A:

If any candidate misses locking their choice during the active counselling rounds then they will not be considered for seat allotment in that specific round. However, if any seats remain vacant at the end of the centralized process, the college holds an on-campus offline spot counseling round, which typically ends by October.

Q:   What is the syllabus of BPharm at LM College of Pharmacy?
A:

The BPharm syllabus at LM College of pharmacy spans four years and is divided into 8 semesters. It follows the standard Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) guidelines. The core subjects include:

  • Year 1: Human Anatomy and Physiology, Pharmaceutical Analysis, Pharmaceutics, Inorganic Chemistry, Engineering and Computer Applications.
  • Year 2: Organic Chemistry, Physical Pharmaceutics, Biochemistry, Pathophysiology, Pharmacognosy, and Pharmacology.
  • Year 3: Medicinal Chemistry, Industrial Pharmacy, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Jurisprudence, and Herbal Drug Technology.
  • Year 4: Instrumental Methods of Analysis, Pharmacy Practice, Novel Drug Delivery Systems, and Quality Assurance.
Q:   What are the exams accepted by LM College of Pharmacy for MPharm admission?
A:

LM College MPharm programme is strictly based on entrance exam scores. The institute give first preference to candidates who have cleared the national-level GPAT. During the centralised ACPC counselling process, all specialised postgraduate seats are initially allocated to these GPAT-qualified applicants. For candidates who have not appeared for the national exam, the state-level Gujarat PGCET serves as the alternative pathway. These state-level scores used by the admission committee in later rounds to fill any seats that remain vacant after all eligible GPAT candidates have been accommodated.

Good place for the pharmacy students and great faculty.
Placements: It is a great college for teaching. Most of the students have above 75% in the board exam. Recruiting companies are Cipla, Zydus Hospital, Intas Pharmaceutical, Torrent Pharma, Sun Pharma, etc. All students have great results so they had been selected for internships in different companies or hospitals. Pharmacy courses are about medicine and health care.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are average because it has been made since 1947 and not renovated. So, infrastructure is like poor, but also good. The classroom is okay but not much because it's very poor and sometimes something happens, like a rat dying. Food quality in our canteen is also good. They have sports and games and win with gratitude.
Faculty: All the teachers are well qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality is best. By the chalkboard or sometimes by the presentation. Course curriculum is best; it makes you practically active and teaches new skills. The semester exam is not much more difficult when you are studying properly but you don't do work as required so it may be a chance you fail. It's by the GTU.
Other: I think there is much scope in this. In our college, having fewer functions and extra activities but more sessions that are more knowledgeable.

Nice environment with nice faculty and great education.
Placements: The placement from LM College of Pharmacy is almost guaranteed, and it's a well-known college among pharmacists so it will not be an issue. Many students have gotten placement while doing internships in the field of pharmacy. D Cro is the majorly offered position for Pharma.D graduates.
Infrastructure: 2 buildings: 1 main building and another for Pharma.D are there. Labs are clean and well maintained; classrooms are clean and well arranged. Has its own pet house consisting of animals for research. The washrooms are cleaned on a daily basis. Campus consists of 2 libraries.
Faculty: The best faculty compared to all the pharmacy colleges have good qualifications and are friendly and approachable; most of the faculty have doctorate degrees in their respective fields. Curriculum is taught as a practical base, which helps in fetching jobs later on.
Other: Pharma.D. is basically the integration of pharmacy with medicine. The specialty of this course is that you learn how medicine is made and when that medicine is prescribed with facts like how disease occurs and how to manage patients. In the LMC College of Pharmacy, we are taught from the angles of research, majorly.
