Admission to the courses is based on the scores obtained in TNEA counseling. To be eligible for any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 45% in class 12th in a relevant stream from any recognized board.PG:At the PG level, the institute offers only MTech and MBA courses. Admission to the courses is based on the scores obtained in the GATE and TANCET exams, respectively. To be eligible for any course, the candidate has to score a minimum of 50% in graduation in a relevant stream from any recognized university.

The TNEA counseling is conducted by Anna University. It is conducted for all colleges in Tamil Nadu, not only for the M.A.M. College of Engineering and Technology. The result date for this is usually decided from the TNEA schedule released officially by the Tamil Nadu Government. Generally, results are announced 2-3 months after the process has started. For example, the process was started on 6th May 2024, and the results were announced on 13th August 2024. In 2025, the process was started on 7th May, and the ranks were allotted on 27th June.

It depends on the course in which the student is interested. M.A.M College of Engineering and Technology offers MBA, MTech, and BTech courses. The basic eligibility criteria for each course require the student to have a minimum of 45% in the previous qualification. Along with this, the student needs to have a minimum valid score in the GATE exam, TANCET exam, or TNEA counseling for admission to MTech, MBA, and BTech, respectively. Candidates meeting all the admission requirements can apply by appearing for the respective counseling or directly filling out the admission form at the official website of the college for admission under the management quota.
