The GATE result 2026 will be announced on March 19 on its official website - gate2026.iitg.ac.in. How many students qualified in GATE 2026: IIT Guwahati conducted GATE exam on February 7, 8, 14, and 15 in two shifts. The branch-wise exam dates have been released, and the GATE admit card 2026 is now available for download. After the announcement of result, the authorities will release the cutoff along with number of candidates registered and appeared in GATE 2026.
As per the official notification, GATE 2026 result will be declared on March 19. Students will be able to check their result at GATE login using their enrollment ID and password.

Over past five years (2020-2024), GATE has experienced fluctuations in candidate registrations, exam attendance and qualifications. Number of GATE test papers has also increased. GATE two-paper combination was also included, offering more options to candidates.
