M.E. Sasnabi College has many problems.
Placements: We got hired for roles like content creators, content specialists, and copyeditors through campus recruitment with an initial pay of Rs. 20,000 to Rs. 25,000 per month. Teachers also referred us for roles as tutors/trainers through their network. Only a moderate number of students got hired, approximately 40 to 45%.
Infrastructure: Only 20 to 25 buses operated regularly from our college. Some of the buses were fully occupied by students, creating overcrowding mostly on Mondays and Tuesdays. So, most of the students switched to using public transportation or other modes of transport. Concerns and worries were raised only during the initial period of college.
Faculty: The level of efficiency in using their primary language, English, was not rated as good. Due to management compulsion, they tried to converse in English. Teachers’ intent was to make the subjects understood clearly, but it could not be achieved due to language challenges.

Asmabi College is wonderful and amazing.
Placements: College is wonderful and nice. 50 to 70 people are placed at the college interview. The college supports all students in their studies. The students are encouraged in all programs at the college. College has internships, tours, etc. It is a nice college.
Infrastructure: College facilities have NCC, NSS, program, sports, and so many other programs. The college offers so many programs. Sports like cricket, football, basketball, etc., are available. The canteen is nice, and friendly people are interested in the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helping students in their studies. The college program is conducted by students, and full support is provided to the teachers and principal. So many people at the college are fully supported in all programs in the student activities.

The charming world of Asmabi College.
Placements: My college is MS Asmbai College, and I am pursuing a B.Sc. in Aquaculture. Students who pass their higher secondary education can apply to this course. B.Sc. Aquaculture is a top-scope course. We must pass six semesters to continue our studies with a postgraduate program. We get jobs in many aquaculture-related industries, farms, etc.
Infrastructure: College is good. Structure and facilities are amazing. Highly developed classrooms provided with Wi-Fi, projectors, etc. There is a developed lab and library in our college and also a digital library available in our college. Hostel is available for both girls and boys. Sports, arts, etc, facilities are available.
Faculty: There are six semesters it's neutral, it's not more difficult and easier. Teachers are good and efficient. They are very friendly with students. Course has a good scope and teachers help to improve our skills and knowledge well.
Other: I like to study a relevant course. So I did internet research and finally decided to take B.Sc. in Aquaculture. Course is good. The programs conducted in our college are amazing.

B.Voc. in Tourism and Hospitality Management - Batch of 2026

Absolutely satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2024.
Placements: In my college, placements are provided to the students, and my course provides internships and placements. The placement percentage is 80-98%. The highest package is 5-7 Lacs per annum, the lowest package is 2-3.5 Lacs per annum, and the average package is 4.5-5.5 Lacs per annum. The percentage of students getting internships is 60-80%. They got placements in various companies. After the internship, they get experience certificates.
Infrastructure: In my department, the facilities are the best: the classrooms, hospitality lab, and Wi-Fi. I don't know about the hostel. The girls' hostels inside the college have fees of 10,000 per year; they provide accommodation and food. I think the food is average. I don't know much about the girls' hostel, but the boys' hostel is only for sports admission students. They provide stay and good food.
Faculty: The teaching quality is good, with faculty adopting creative learning methods to help students. The faculty members are committed to goal-oriented, efficient teaching with effective methodology, and the teachers are supportive and helpful to their students. The semester exams are sometimes difficult, and internal exams are conducted before the main exams to assess students' preparation. The exam pattern includes 6 semesters over 3 years, with each semester having an internal exam and a final exam. The curriculum is relevant. For example, the B.Voc in tourism and management hospitality course provides hands-on training and exposure to the industry through internships and placements.
Other: This course is valuable for me, as it is a job-oriented course for tourism and hospitality passionate students. The pass-out students got placements in various companies like hotels, travel agencies, and tour companies. This course is not affordable, as the semester fees are increasing for new admission students. Scholarships are available, including the Fisheries Man Scholarship, E-Grants, Mohammed Kutty Scholarship, etc.

Strong industry-focused with qualified faculty, but needs better campus and more activities.
Placements: Around 80% of students in B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management course were placed. The highest package was Rs. 6 LPA and the lowest is Rs. 2 LPA with an average of Rs. 4 LPA. Top recruiters include hotel and travel companies. About 70% secured internships.
Infrastructure: B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management course offers good infrastructure, including well-equipped classrooms, Wi-Fi, and dedicated labs. The library has relevant resources for students. Hostel facilities are decent, with quality food in the mess and canteen.
Faculty: At MS Asmabi College Kodungallur, our teachers are qualified and generally helpful to us. They provide good teaching quality. The B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management curriculum is relevant and industry-focused. The exams can be challenging, with a pass percentage of 70%.
Other: I chose B.Voc Tourism and Hospitality Management for its industry relevance. Best aspects include hands-on training and networking. More events and fests would enhance student engagement. Scholarships could also be expanded to provide better support.

A different kind of experience.
Placements: The majority of students choose higher education, so the placement percentage is about 40%. The highest salary offered is Rs. 1,00,000 per month. The average salary offered is Rs. 35,000 per month. The lowest salary offered is Rs. 10,000 per month. Many seafood produce companies and government institutes like MPEDA, CMFRI, and Hatcheries visit our college to recruit students. Many students got internships in MPEDA and various hatcheries. This course offers a wide range of roles from hatchery technologists to research assistants.
Infrastructure: We have equipped labs. Classrooms are well-equipped. The library consists of around 40,000 books, many journals, magazines, etc. We have a digital library. It contains a lot of books related to fisheries. The hostel facility is affordable. It provides homely food.
Faculty: Our teachers are well-qualified and experts in their field. The teaching quality is great as we can understand the importance of this course. The course curriculum is relevant. Practical session training and internships make students industry-ready. Semester exams are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is low.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in oceans and fishes. The practical sessions are the best thing about this course. We need more practical sessions. Our college provides a lot of extracurricular activities. It has clubs which help in personality development and career building.
