B.Tech. in Cyber Security Engineering - Batch of 2028

Good faculty and good placement but avg campus size.
Placements: Around 60% of students are placed. TCS, Infosys and Wipro are top recruiting companies. The highest CTC is 16 LPA and avg is 4.37 LPA. 82% of students got internship on and off campus. The placements have significantly improved after the college gained autonomy.
Infrastructure: The college is not very big but its sufficient enough. It has a big library, gym and ground. The canteen food is not very good but there are places just outside the college where you can eat. Medical facilities are top notch and we also have psychiatrist in the campus.
Faculty: The faculty is highly trained and skilled. The exams mostly based on practical knowledge and skill which is the basic industry requirement. The exams are not that difficult as the college is autonomous. The college mostly focuses on technical and practical skills.
Other: I chose this college due to its high ROI and low feels.

Real student perspective on SAKEC.
Placements: Shah & Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College offers strong placement and internship support. In the 2024-25 placement season, 105 companies visited the campus, including Accenture, TCS, Capgemini, and more. The average is 4.6 LPA, with 71 offers above 5 LPA. A major highlight was a student getting placed at Flipkart with a 32 LPA package. The training and placement cell is active and conducts aptitude prep and workshops to make students industry-ready.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent. Labs and the library are air-conditioned and Wi-Fi enabled. Classrooms don't have AC, which can be a downside during hot days. The college supports indoor sports with facilities like a gym, table tennis, and carrom. Sports are also encouraged during college tests, making the atmosphere more engaging for students. The canteen is a bit small, and the food is okay, but manageable.
Faculty: Faculty members of SAKEC are very nice and always ready to help. They support students a lot in everything. The curriculum is updated with trending subjects like AI, ML, and IoT. Exams include theory, internals, and practicals. Unit tests are conducted every week or once every 2 weeks.
Other: The college has a dedicated counselor to support students with personal or mental health issues, which is a great initiative. However, the college's events aren't very happening and could be improved in terms of energy and student participation.

B.Tech. in Electronics Engineering ( VLSI Design and Technology) - Batch of 2028
4.8
5Placements5Infrastructure5Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life5Value for Money
Overall, the college is great.
Placements: My batch in VLSI has recently started at this college, and the teaching staff is really helpful in this particular field. Placements are guaranteed. Since it is a recent field, there are currently no students with internships yet, as there are only 3 batches, ranging from 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is up to date and modern, with great Wi-Fi and classroom services. The labs are equipped with modern technology, and the library is available in both offline and online modes. Medical facilities in the college are well-equipped, with appropriate medicine and first aid. This college also has a sports club which plays at the inter-college and national levels.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced and very helpful. The curriculum of this college is helpful for students in understanding future problems. The exams are pretty helpful and informative. The exam difficulty is moderate, quite understandable, and visualized with real-world concepts.
Other: College events take place with fun and excitement. The overall campus is pretty alright, since there needs to be a space for car parking for students as well.

Unfiltered experience at Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College.
Placements: Almost 60% of the students in our college get placed. 80% of the Computer Science department gets internships. The highest package is around 22 LPA, and the average package is around 4.5 LPA. The top companies are Capgemini and TCS. Computer Science and IT have better placement rates compared to Electronics and other lower branches. Still, the college provides good internship opportunities
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite decent. There are gym and medical facilities available in the college. The labs have AC, and ventilation is there in classrooms. The library is open from 9 AM to 7 PM. The college doesn't have its own hostel, most students take PG around the college.
Faculty: Faculty are mostly helpful, except for a few. The college is strict when it comes to examinations and takes strict action on any malpractice. Most faculty members are nice and help in doubt-solving and other problems, and they are very understanding. The curriculum is mostly theory-based for the first 2 years at least, but most students get an internship in their 3rd and 4th years, which helps them gain real-world experience
Other: The faculty is mostly helpful, and seniors are extremely friendly and helpful. They guide you on every path.

Review of Mahavir Education Trust's Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC).
Placements: They always say that there are 100% of placements but this is never the case. Many students are still not placed due to less CGPA or due to previous KTs which I feel do not exactly determine the knowledge of the person. What I like is there is a dedicated placement cell, so students can approach to seek placements and hiring.
Infrastructure: It has a decent infrastructure. A new building is being built which would increase the campus size by a reasonable amount. Also, the current building is not up to the standards as it is kind of old now. It has a lot of pillars and walls, which have lost their colors. Basic facilities are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are incredibly helpful as a lot of students seek them for help. There is a wide variety of courses including extracurricular courses which the college provides on vacation.
Other: I am currently studying B.Tech. in Artificial Intelligence and Data Science Engineering in 2027. It has many clubs and cells to make sure students grow to their full potential.

Life at Sake has been an exciting rollercoaster ride so far
Placements: The college provides an average placement of around 4 LPA, even though the placement rate is not that good, you can get a good package of up to 10 LPA if you have enough technical skills. Overall, placements are average, it all depends on how much you learn in these 4 years of your life and make the most out of the degree you have selected for yourself.
Infrastructure: Sake does not have any hostels, so you need to find a PG, hostel, or any rented place nearby the college by yourself. Talking about the infrastructure of the college, it's pretty good. Even though there is not much campus life, the ambiance is clean and technologically equipped. The campus has a full-on Mumbai vibe, even though it is small and the number of people admitted is quite large
Faculty: The faculty there is good like not that good but I will say it is moderately good as compared to other tier 3 colleges, few teachers I know are really helpful they can guide you in literally everything apart from that the curriculum might be very overwhelming some times because it's hard for some of us to adapt to a new place and new people now that the college is autonomous the stress has been reduced to half. The exam difficulty level is moderate, the college is really strict about the exam process and practicals are conducted seriously.
Other: There are around 70 students in my class, and the class is divided into a batch of 3- A, B, C. I personally chose this course because I have a passion for coding and the best thing about my course is, that I get exposure to every field, SAKEC also has this cell called TBI which is a technology and business incubator, and me being part of it is indeed the best things for me. The college has its own fest called "PRATISHTHA". And it is a must-attend, it happens in the month of February. The crowd is full of diversity.
