The college organises placement drives, but we weren't prepared for the placements by that time.

The teachers and environment are very productive, while the placements were not that good.
Placements: Around 40% of students were placed in my complete college, and 50% of them in my computer engineering branch. Even though there was a lack of active companies in the market, the placement cell in my college was determined to bring as many as they could. The lowest that was offered was 1,00,000, while the highest that was offered was 20 Lacs, but no one got it. The average comes down this year to 4 Lacs per annum. Top recruiters were TCS, Cognizant for girls, then there was Jio, Vector, and many more. There were many companies such as Blue Eyes Soft and Sogolitics, and even a space company gave internships. Intentions were abundant, and students were able to take part in internships. Also, the college provided in-house internships. Around 60-65% of students got an internship in my college. Top roles offered in my course were Software Developer Trainee, Software Engineer Trainee, Associate Software Engineer, Quality Analyst Trainee, and even non-technical roles such as Sales Engineer and all other roles were also offered.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of my college improved with time and are above average. However, there was no hostel facility, and there was not much ground for playing or extracurricular activities. Still, the infrastructure, Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and library were excellent. The security systems installed were excellent, and the environment is ragging-free. It is safe, continuously monitored by authorities. For my course, even the technical infrastructure, such as computers and the network, was amazing and upgraded. There were no hostel facilities, yet the college tried to help students relocate near the college with in-house contacts. While all this was good, the food and the canteen were the worst, not very hygienic, and the cost was high. The medical facilities, including a psychologist, were also poor. The infrastructure for indoor games is there, but the possibility of using them is less due to strict lecturer timings and attendance.
Faculty: Teachers are considered extremely good at teaching. They were very qualified and knowledgeable. The quality of teaching was amazing. There were smart boards, and the teachers were upgraded while encouraging students to participate in various competitions and helping them even while doing so. The teachers could be approached and worked with, even if some students were working on extra projects for their own personal learning. The teachers taught beyond the curriculum to students for better understanding and improvement. The pedagogy and much more helped me a lot. The curriculum set by teachers was good and aligned with our placements and the text that they taught, even to make the students industry-ready. The seminars and internships provided by the college were beneficial. The semester exams were difficult, but the kind of teaching and the internal exams given by the college were good, so students were happy and comfortable while giving them. The first passing percentage was according to the university, which is 40%.

Underrated college because of the campus, but has good academics and faculty.
Placements: This college has average placements, not too good, but good enough for a college in Mumbai. The average package offered is 4.5 LPA, the highest is around 8 LPA and the lowest package offered is like 2.5 LPA. Most of the students who get placed are from software branches. Companies do approach for placements but you need to do a good job at getting selected, or else they won’t recruit anyone.
Infrastructure: The college does not have a library. The infrastructure includes a 7 floored huge building along with a library, gym, indoor sports room, canteen, etc. Wi-Fi is available in the college but too many students use it which is why only LAN works properly. Quality of food in the canteen is average.
Faculty: The college faculty is good, they will help you when you ask for help. Some of them are properly qualified while the others do not have that much experience. It followed Mumbai University’s syllabus but now it will be autonomous so the required subjects and topics will be introduced in the syllabus. It won't actually make you industry ready, only internships and projects can help. The semester exams are medium hard. The passing percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose Computer Engineering because I had a little interested in it. Plus, it has good placement opportunities. It follows old fashioned way of education which really needs to be improved. The college hosts a cultural event every year and many tech events too. The campus crowd is good and interactive, and scholarships can be availed from mahadbt. It doesn't support extra curricular activities much.
