I am satisfied with this college because of its great faculty members and good placements.
Placements: Approximately 70%-75% of students were placed. The highest salary package offered was 5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. The average salary package offered was 3.8 LPA. Top recruiters were Accenture, Capgemini, TCS, and Cognizant. About 20% to 30% of students got internships. Most internships were from the college itself. Most students went for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The equipments required for the course were available. The library had limited books. Classrooms were great. There was no hostel. The canteen was the best but it served only vegetarian food. Sports and games are conducted once a year.
Faculty: More than 90% of teachers were well-qualified and very knowledgeable. The teaching quality was great. Most teachers were very hardworking. The course has been changed to Electronics and Computer Science, with more emphasis on the software part. Exams were difficult. If you are a regular student, you will clear the exams easily. 40% is the pass percentage.
Other: The best thing is that you get to learn the hardware as well as the software part. They need to focus more on the software part. Fests are conducted once a year. Scholarships were provided. Events were conducted many times.

Review of Mahavir Education Trust's Shah and Anchor Kutchhi Engineering College (SAKEC).
Placements: More than 70% of students were placed in top IT companies, and others opted for higher studies. Companies like Amazon, Capgemini, LTI, Accenture, Amdocs, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Vistaar, Media.net, Book My Show, Atos, and other startups visited the campus for placements. Roles like software engineer and software analyst were offered. During batch 2019-2020, the highest salary package offered was 12 LPA and the lowest was 3 LPA. Almost every student got an internship through Internshala.
Infrastructure: The campus included a stationery shop, canteen, library, and Wi-Fi facility. It also had a shop for buying snacks like Lays and other wafers, chocolates, milkshakes, cold drinks, ice cream, and more. A huge library with all the books related to the syllabus was available. A separate computer lab was available in the library, through which one could access the IEEE library. Classrooms were big and could easily accommodate all students. Each subject had a different laboratory with all equipments. For the first-year students, workshops, different labs, and classrooms were available. Even for subjects like engineering drawing, a different classroom was present. Overall, the campus was good. High-quality food was cooked and served in the canteen. It was made with fresh ingredients. It was hygienic. Good medical facilities and sports grounds were available.
Faculty: Teachers were the most crucial part of campus life. All teachers used to encourage students to do an internship or research. Special tutorial tests were conducted for difficult topics like mathematics and mechanics. Teachers used to personally solve every doubt. They encouraged us to take part in co-curricular activities along with academics. I was lucky to be part of this organisation.

It is one of the best colleges in Mumbai.
Placements: About 70% to 80% of students get placed every year. The highest salary package offered by a non-technical company is around 6 LPA to 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Capgemini, and Accenture. The top roles offered include software developer.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good, and now they are also renovating and adding more departments and labs. Labs and classrooms are good. The library has many books of all genres. The canteen is pretty decent.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced and helpful. They are knowledgeable. The teaching quality is pretty good. The courses are relevant. The courses prepare students to be industry-ready and career-oriented. The pass percentage was 80% for the previous two years.
Other: The courses offered have value for money and they are phenomenal. The best part of the college is the technical, sports, and cultural festivals.

I had a good college experience at SAKEC.
Placements: Many MNCs came for recruitment, mostly from the software domain. LTI, TCS, Capgemini, etc., are a few. More than half of the eligible students were placed so far, I guess. I got a package of 6.5 LPA, and that's the highest package in my branch, as far as I know. The lowest package was offered by TCS, among the major recruiters, of 3.36 LPA, and the average package was around 3.8 LPA. I don't have much of an idea about internships received. Capgemini and LTI were the top recruiters for the branch. The roles received by most people are not known to me.
Infrastructure: The labs are quite spacious, but some of the components are pretty old. Most of the equipment works fine, and the college does invest in new equipment, licensed software from time to time. The library has most of the books related to the course. The quality of food in the canteen is pretty good, and the price is not very steep either. However, the variety available is limited. Sports are held during the annual festival on a big scale, and indoor games and a gym are available for students on a time slot basis.
Faculty: The faculty members are pretty knowledgeable and skilled in their subjects. They even provide additional knowledge apart from the curriculum. However, there are some teachers who might have a slight communication gap with students, based on personal opinion. The course is relevant but lacks some modern additions. Hence, it's being revised to electronics and computer science to make up for the lack of it since the major industry we get jobs in is the IT industry.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in mechatronics which requires coding, electronics and mechanical knowledge. Coding is easier to learn on our own than electronics to me, hence I chose this field. The college has a ton of events hosted by various student bodies and the annual college Symposium is a collection of several activities. The changes I would like to see in the course are probably already being implemented in the ECS revised course since that adds CSE components to the course.
