Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) - Batch of 2026

I am averagely satisfied by the college and faculty, placements with low salary packages.
Placements: About 40-60% of students were placed. The highest salary offered is Rs.18000 - Rs.23000 per month to 1.5 LPA to 2 LPA. The top recruiting companies are Dr. Reddy, Nova, and Malla Reddy Narayanan Hospital. The main roles offered are clinical researcher, etc.
Infrastructure: There is no proper Wi-Fi, no proper maintenance of restrooms in the college. Hostel facilities are good. The mess is also good. We don't have sports or games or any other extra curriculum activities in our college. If we want any occasion to happen, students should request the principal.
Faculty: We have freshers mainly who completed their course as our faculty members in our college. This course definitely would make students industry-ready. Students have a great knowledge regarding the medical field and counseling patients. The pass percentage is good enough.
Other: I have got placed through the convenor quota. Infrastructure, faculty, and supportive principal, I wish could improve. We have a principal who doesn't support us for anything.

It is a good college if you are only interested in studies.
Placements: Approximately 40-50% of students were placed. There are many companies that visit our college for placements, but none of them offer good placements. I'm pursuing a doctorate of pharmacy, and still I'm in 6th year, but as of my knowledge, the top roles offered are clinical pharmacist and DMO.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available but has low speed. The classrooms and library are not up to the mark but average. There is no sports faculty in our college, but the sports facilities are available. There is no separate ground to play except badminton court.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced and well-versed and knowledgeable. They make us understand every aspect of the subject clearly. The pass percentage of our college is too good. In fact, the pass percentage of my class is 80-90%. The faculty teach us in simple language so that we can write answers on our own.

I am not that satisfied with studying here, but I am glad that I graduated quickly.
Placements: Placements were provided on the college campus, but none of them was for Pharma.D students. It was for other branches, and compared to other colleges, very few companies are available. It is totally the opposite of what we were promised while taking the admission, and it is very disappointing. However, if you manage to make a good bond with faculty members, it might work in your favour.
Infrastructure: It is an average college with decent labs and classrooms. The ratio to students, available equipment and for that matter study books is very low. The canteen is common for all the engineering and pharmacy students. For sports, we used to get things on our own and play on the ground.
Faculty: Exams are good, and the curriculum is standard. Faculty members are average. The down part is that there were no separate qualified faculty members for Pharma.D. It was the same faculty member as for other courses. I thought it lacked experience and knowledge as a whole, which I think changes now.
Other: False promises are made while joining the campus, so I would not recommend this college. There is no assistance from the administration once you are done with the fee payment. They make you struggle even for any small document required.

I am satisfied with the teachers but dissatisfied with placements offered in 2020.
Placements: On-campus placements for pharmacy students are very rare. If students attend drives in collaboration with B.Pharma students, about 50% of students get jobs. Doctor of pharmacy students preferably selected in the field of clinical research and pharmacovigilance jobs. The salary package offered ranges from 2 LPA-3 LPA.
Infrastructure: Our college provides free open Wi-Fi facility, labs with the proper equipment, digital classrooms and computers with a subscription of clinirex. There is a demo room in Malla Reddy hospitals where we do our roaster work, collection of cases, observation and laboratory work for our courses.
Faculty: Staff members here are very qualified for some subjects like pharmacology, clinical pharmacy, medicinal chemistry, but therapeutics is taught by an assistant professor who is not much knowledgeable. The curriculum was pretty relevant to the course, but the course curriculum doesn't contain much knowledgeable content to make students a perfect clinical pharmacist.
Other: It is an integrated doctoral course, and after completion of the course, we get our name with a suffix of Dr. This course is most relevant to the health care system. For every 2 months, our college celebrates events like pharmacy week, freshers, conferences, fest, traditional day, etc. State government offers Rs. 68,000 scholarship waiver.

Good but NOT that satisfied.
Placements: An average of 30% of students were placed in various pharma based companies and got the highest salary of 32k per month. As of now start up companies were showing more interest than top MNCs and were good to provide satisfying salary package.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi at our campus was of Jio and provide good browsing for students for various academic studies We have a good computer lab with more than 50 systems with good network provider. The library has good collection of volumes and have a very good space for students to learn and to provide peaceful place to focus.
Faculty: This course generally deals with the students to get more information about hospital and get accurate with patient's related hospital matters rather than industry-related matters. Teachers were good and competent to provide good knowledge to students both theoretical and practical.
Other: Best thing about this course is, it is designed to focus on patients and their hospitality management. To get better the students should participate in practical experience based on various hospitals rather than one.

Good but need to improve the placement. The infrastructure is good and satisfactory.
Placements: 5 out of 10 were placed in different MNC Pharma based companies. Even hospital facility was good and ethics comitee was cooperative, good and supportive. College labs and hospital internship was a very good option to selected this college Students passed out from this college are very good professionally and are competent.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and labs were good and the faculty provide really good support. College has really good collection of volumes and have good and pleasant area to read. The canteen Provides good and tasty food and was hygienic.
Faculty: Faculty are eligible and very well trained to get students fit for their future. Labs are clean and provide a good area for students to apply their theoretical knowledge into practical. Teaching quality of faculty is one of the plus points in this college.
Other: The basic reason of choosing this course is a Doctorate degree. Doing internship in other hospitals and improving knowledge is the main agenda. Fest cultural campus is the best.

I am very dissatisfied because of teachers and placements provided in 2020 batch.
Placements: Mostly, 80% of the students got admission in this course through EAMCE. The highest salary offered in our college ranges from Rs. 30,000-40,000 per month and the lowest salary offered ranges from Rs. 10,000-20,000 per month. For our course, top recruiting companies didn't visit our college for placements, and only moderate companies recruit students from our course. Roles offered in our course are clinical pharmacist, hospital pharmacist, pharmacovigilance, clinical research, medical writing, medical coding, etc. The highest salary package offered in our course ranges from 3.5 LPA-4.5 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered ranges from 1.5 LPA-2.0 LPA. In our course, students have to internships in the hospital only. So, companies don't visit for internships like software field students.
Infrastructure: In our entire campus of pharmacy, I like the only library because every book will be offered by the librarian madam to study for exams. The outlook of the campus will be good, while the interior look is average. The Wi-Fi facility will be available only for faculty members on the premises but not for students. The hostel in our college is very bad. For every little thing, we need to take permission under the respective premises. The quality of the food served is also very bad. We can't eat it and can't be digested.
Faculty: There are qualified, knowledgeable and unqualified lectures on our campus. Qualified lecturers will teach in detail, and even they will provide notes for the respective subject. Unqualified lecturers are waste in terms of teaching. The course curriculum is not relevant as we don't have such industrial visits, and only medical camps will be provided.
Other: I have chosen this course because I want to get doctorate before my name. I wish that our college should provide more qualified knowledgeable lecturers than unqualified because we are paying very much money for education. But we are not getting knowledge due to unqualified lectures. We need to beg the principal to conduct extracurricular activities like events, tests, etc.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of less qualified faculty.
Placements: very less students were placed in my course. The highest salary offered was 35k, the lowest was 12k and average salary offered was 20k. The top roles offered where clinical research coordinator, clinical research associate. Nobody got internships we had to go by ourselves to join for internship.
Infrastructure: There are good labs and classroom facilities. There are pharmacy practice, pharmaceutics, anatomy, pharmacognosy, organic inorganic and biochemistry labs in this college with good conditioned lab equipment. The quality of facilities in hostel is not too good.
Faculty: 1. )The teachers were helpful, somewhere qualified and a few were knowledgeable. 2. )This course curriculum makes the students industry ready. 3. )The teaching quality was not bad. 4. )But the teaching quality could be much better. The course curriculum is relevant but I don't think maths needs to be included in it.
Other: I had to choose this course because I had no other option. No best things about this course in india I wish they were better job options for this course.
