Hands-on learning, friendly campus, growing pharma opportunities with room to expand.
Placements: Around 60-65% of pharmacy students manage to get placed. The highest package reaches about 45 LPA, with the average near 2.5-3 LPA and the lowest around 1.8 LPA. Recruiters include pharma companies, hospitals, and medical stores, offering roles such as pharmacist, clinical research trainee, sales executive, and production associate. Internships are available for 70% of students, mainly in local hospitals, pharma industries, and research centers.
Infrastructure: The college provides decent classrooms, Wi-Fi, well-equipped pharma labs, and a resourceful library. Hostel facilities are basic but livable. The mess food is average. The canteen options are limited. Medical support is available for students. Sports and games are present, but facilities could be modernized.
Faculty: Faculty members are approachable, knowledgeable, and supportive in academics. The pharmacy curriculum is relevant and updated with core pharmaceutical sciences, though more industry tie-ups would make it stronger. Exams are of moderate difficulty, with most sincere students passing. The pass percentage usually stays above 85%.
Other: I chose pharmacy here to build a career in pharma and healthcare. The best things are supportive faculty, practical exposure in labs, and scholarships. Improvements are needed in placements and a stronger link with leading pharma companies.
