Residuals of scholarship for UG programs will be according to merit (a) 85% of marks/cgpa will receive 75% of tuition fees funded (b) 80-84.99% of marks/cgpa will receive 50% funding through tuition waiver (c) 75-79.99% of marks/cgpa will get 25% tuition fee discount (d) 70-74.99% of marks/cgpa will be given 10% tuition fee concession along with that option and PG programs will also get merit based scholarships (a) 80% marks/cgpa in qualifying exam will receive 75% of the tuition fees waived off other than that (b) 75% - 79.99% of marks/cgpa in qualifying exam will receive 50% tuition fee waiver (c) 70 - 74.99% of marks/cgpa in the qualifying exam will receive 25% tuition fee waiver (d) 65 - 69.99% of marks/cgpa in the qualifying exam will receive a 10% tuition fee waiver.
Under Special Category-
Empowering Women- Fee Concession for 20% on Tution Fee or Rs. 5000 (whichever is minimum).
Alumni Special(MREI Alums) - Fee Concession for 20% on Tution Fee or Rs. 5000 (whichever is minimum).
Government Special(Working with State Govt. or Central Govt.) - Fee Concession for 20% on Tution Fee or Rs. 5000 (whichever is minimum).
Sports(State Level & above) - Fee Concession for 20% on Tution Fee or Rs. 5000 (whichever is minimum).
Divyang - Fee Concession for 20% on Tution Fee or Rs. 5000 (whichever is minimum).
Conditions for Continuation of Scholarship Policy-
Maintain a minimum CGPA of 6.5 Annually (Ist& 2nd Semester).However, if any student considered for fee concession in the first year fails in any of the subject, he/she may be considered for continuation of fee concession provided that he/she shall have to clear the subjects in the subsequent academic year failing which he/she may be not be considered for the continuation of Fee Concession.
10% Programme Fee Waiver for these Scholarship Category-
1. Serving or retired Defence/Police/Paramilitary personnel and their spouse, or war widows
2. Special needs-disability
3. Working women
4. Candidates with a career break for more than 2 years
5. Alumni and their blood relations
6. Annual income of less than Rs. 2.5 LPA
7. Achieved 70% and above in their last qualification
8. State or central government candidates and their blood relations
9. Sportsperson and has played in district/regional/national level

Students with a different qualification at the UG level may be required to complete some additional bridge courses.
