Placements: The highest package is 8.85 LPA, and top recruiting organizations include Nightingales and Fortis. After completing this course, you become eligible for higher education and exams like USMLE and PG, with research facilities available from the 1st year itself to prepare you for the future.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present everywhere in the hostel as well as in every single room of the college. The library is well-equipped, and the classrooms are well-lit and properly furnished with projectors, markers, and board facilities. There is a dissection hall with 10 cadavers for every 15 students.
Faculty: Faculty have been chosen from KMC Manipal, KMC Mangalore, and other higher institutions. They are well qualified. The new NMC curriculum is followed. Exams are difficult as questions are totally clinical-based with no direct questions. Teachers focus on the holistic development of students.
Other: The best part is that after completing MBBS with sincerity, I'll be able to crack the USMLE/PG exams as academics are very important here along with overall development. Many other course-curricular activities are performed to help students enhance their other talents as well.

State of the art academic infrastructure with great teachers.
Placements: Placement opportunities are not offered in this course. Students typically pursue postgraduate courses or seek employment independently. Most students opt for further studies and sit for entrance exams. A one-year internship at the attached Teaching Hospital is mandatory for all students.
Infrastructure: The college offers state-of-the-art laboratories and clinical labs for pre- and para-subjects. The teaching hospital has a great patient inflow that provides great exposure. The college also offers transport facilities. Wi-Fi is available throughout the hostel & college campus. Full-fledged Online & Offline libraries are at the disposal of students wherein. AC & Non-AC double or single accommodation is available at hostels. A duty doctor is available on campus. The students can use the infamous Keenan Stadium/JRD Sports Complex for free.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified professionals. Practicing doctors take out their invaluable time to teach clinical subjects. The standard of teaching is very high. The course curriculums are very much related and vast. The course makes the students service-ready.
Internal examinations are pretty standard, and tough at times. The qualifying examinations are of a high standard and difficult as compared to other state health universities or deemed universities.
Other: Many club events & competitions are held. A yearly fest called the MANIFEST is held in August and September.

Exemplary Teaching, Relevant Curriculum, and Rigorous Exams Ensure good clinicians.
Placements: Since it's a medical college, we all do mandatory internships with our tie-up hospital, TMH (Tata Main Hospital), but as of now, no batch has passed out. The first will graduate in 2025. After passing out, they will graduate as MBBS doctors. Top roles are that they can practice in any hospital across the globe with their experience.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is present on the full campus and hostel. The library is open until 8 pm from 9 am in the morning. There’s a central reading hall as well. The food quality is good, with a focus on hygiene and nutrition. The menu is regularly updated to include a mix of traditional and contemporary dishes, ensuring that students have access to balanced meals. Basketball and football grounds are to be made. There are indoor facilities for activities like badminton and table tennis.
Faculty: The teachers at Manipal Tata Medical College are highly qualified and knowledgeable, many holding advanced degrees and possessing extensive experience in their respective fields. The teaching quality is generally regarded as excellent, with instructors being approachable and helpful, regular SGDs and SDLs in small groups for focused attention on students. Multiple revisions for difficult topics. The course curriculum at Manipal Tata Medical College is designed to be highly relevant and in line with CBME released by NMC. It includes a mix of theoretical knowledge and practical experience. The curriculum is regularly updated to incorporate the latest advancements in medical science and technology. The semester exams are termed as sessionals, with 3 and 1 main university exam. In mid-intervals, we have formatives which are designed to be challenging, ensuring that students have a thorough understanding of the material. However, with diligent study and the support provided by the faculty, students are well-equipped to succeed. The pass percentage is 40% as per NMC rules. The exact pass percentage can vary by year and cohort.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in exploring the human body and serving people by easing their pain. My course helps me to join a noble profession that gives me respect and prosperity. There are numerous opportunities for hands-on learning through clinical rotations and internships. More opportunities for student involvement in research projects could be beneficial as the medical field is very vast and dynamic. The college hosts MANIFEST, the main cultural event, besides the annual college day and a few allied events. Since it's a new campus, the events are few in number and on a small scale. The student body is diverse and inclusive, creating a dynamic and enriching environment, but mainly consists of North Indians. The campus is well-connected with good transportation links, making it easy to travel to and from the college. The campus is located in a pleasant area with good amenities and a supportive local community, far from the city crowd and traffic. There are clubs catering to a wide range of interests. Scholarships are available for Jharkhand students based on merit, providing a fee waiver.

Compromises crowd for excellent faculty, knowledge, and experience.
Placements: The MBBS course does not provide placements. However, there is a compulsory, paid internship that you'll need to complete after finishing your final year. Following that, one can either choose to appear for a postgraduate exam like NEET PG/next or start their practice as a general physician.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure at MTMC is quite good. The labs are fully equipped with all the necessary equipment for physical examinations, and the biochem labs are certified for maintaining an infection-free sterile environment. Wi-Fi is available within the campus, and there is a vast library with books by both international and Indian authors. The sports area includes facilities for table tennis, badminton, volleyball, and cricket. Additionally, the college is affiliated with the JRD sports complex, where a swimming pool and gymnasium are present. The hostels are adequate for medical students, with furnished rooms for two people each and an open area for relaxation.
Faculty: The faculty is very cooperative, informative, and sets the benchmark for a competitive environment, aiding in enhancing our skills, knowledge, and preparing us for exams. The teachers are highly qualified with an MBBS/MD/PhD degree. Rigorous and regular tests (informative and sessional) are held throughout the year. The semester exams are more challenging than the university exams, contributing to a 100% pass rate for our batch. The curriculum aligns with the CBME guidelines of NCC to prepare the student to be a competent Indian Medical Graduate.
Other: We have an annual fest, MANIFEST, where people can showcase their talents and participate in various fields of academics, sports, and drama. The crowd, however, is disappointing in the college. However, the patient loads at Tata Medical Hospital (one of the oldest) make up for it.

Placements: Around 99% of students get placed in my course with excellent packages for a good lifestyle. Top recruiters come from different areas. The 1-year internship program helps students gain practical knowledge and enhance their skills even more. Top MD and MS doctors guide students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is perfect for studying. A playing area is provided where we can play different types of games like carrom, table tennis, badminton, etc. The food is also nice.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and experienced. The maximum attention to students and proper facilities provided by the college. It is really easy to keep up with your curriculum and become successful. Semester exams are of a moderate level so that they can enhance and test the abilities of students. Faculty members are wonderful. Teaching and guiding us throughout the whole journey.
Other: It has a beautiful and extraordinary campus.

Great infrastructure, supportive faculty, and good placements.
Placements: In my college, around 70% of students in my course get placed. The average package is around 4 to 5 LPA, with the highest going up to 10 LPA. Companies like TCS, Wipro, and Infosys visit our campus for recruitment. Many students also get internships through the college placement cell. The major roles offered include software developer, business analyst, and support engineer.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure with well-maintained classrooms, Wi-Fi, computer labs, and a central library. Hostels are clean and secure with proper mess facilities. There are sports grounds, medical facilities, and 24/7 security as well. The college is good.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified and supportive. The curriculum is updated and matches current industry needs. Semester exams are moderately difficult. Most students pass with good marks if they study consistently. The college has good teachers.
