B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2022

It is a great place to pursue M.Tech or PhD in structural engineering.
Placements: Internships are not offered until now in our college. However, students are moulded in a way that they will be ready to attend central and state exams after their graduation. This institute is recognised by NBA for the civil department in 2020. It is the only institute in Manipur which is recognised by NBA.
Infrastructure: Our institute is equipped with a library, classrooms, lab rooms, etc. The hostel is situated in a student-friendly environment at Manipur University. The health centre is situated nearby the hostel. The hostel campus has many football fields, hockey fields, auditorium, tennis court, etc.
Faculty: Teachers here are extremely well qualified. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Students are moulded so that they can qualify in GATE exam or can attend other exams. Practical classes conducted here make students gain a more thorough knowledge of the field.

B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering - Batch of 2025

It's a good college for knowledge, but for placement, you have to try hard and get a job off campus.
Placements: The company does not come for placement at all, so you have to go off campus. If you work hard and get a job by doing this course off campus, you will have a portfolio of your skills. Some local companies will come, but if you want a high-paying job, you can't get it on campus because the pay rate is low, like INR 30k or something around that. Well, for an internship, you have some opportunities to gain some experience at a local company. You can apply for an internship at those companies, and you'll get a guaranteed internship .
Infrastructure: I study in the CS department, so the labs are kind of good, I would say, and wifi is available. The classroom is big and up-to-date, so it's kind of good. The library is also good. The overall infrastructure is good. Ok, so for the hostel, it's really, really good, and for the mess, it's also good, and there are a lot of canteens, so you can choose which is budget-friendly or which tastes better. The medical facilities are good; there is a health care center inside the campus. For sports and games, there are so many things you can do.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and qualified, and you can ask the teacher any questions after the class as well. The teaching quality is overall good, and if there is any problem, you can always complain about that to Hod's. The semester exam is easy if you study every day, and the pass percentage is around 85%.
Other: I chose this course because of the flexibility of the job and other opportunities, like if you studied civil, mechanical, or anything other than CS, a high-paying job is less likely. For events, there is one event for every semester.

B.Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2025
2.6

It is a good college to get an engineering degree.
Placements: There are no students placed in my batch. Due to the prevailing conflict in the state of Manipur, probably no companies come for recruitment. Before joining the college, I had positive views regarding getting placed, but it is not so. However, the college has a dedicated and functional placement, and I hope students will be placed in the future.
Infrastructure: Free Wi-Fi is available on the MU campus but not on the Takyel campus. Labs need to be updated with new equipment. We get the same hostel facilities as other MU hostels, as both the Men's and Women's hostels are located within the Manipur University campus. Hostels are very accommodating, with two people in a room.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly and helpful. They teach you from the basics. Language may be a problem for some, as most teachers use Manipuri in their lectures. Courses are very relevant, especially the program and open electives. The curriculum fits well in the emerging technical world.
Other: Reso, the technical fest, and MIT week make the stay memorable.
