Review of Mar Gregorios College of Law.
Placements: The college does have a placement program. It is mainly in companies that have a law department. I don't specifically know the companies but I have heard it offers great exposure. Companies like Technopark, UST, etc., visit the college to hire students. The package starts from Rs. 20,000 per month and maybe above according to our profile. My personal goal after the course is to practice law as an advocate and then go for the judgeship program.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very good. I personally love the campus. It is very eco-friendly and green. There are a lot of trees and plants adding to the ambiance. Classrooms are big enough to fit up to 70 students. Every classroom has a projector which allows teachers to present the study materials. The college library is one of the best parts of the college. The library is big enough and has a wide collection of academic books. It has one of the biggest collections of law books in Kerala too.
Faculty: There are enough faculty members in the law subjects but the non law subjects faculty members are only a few. There are some very great faculty members too. Most of them are very understanding and very friendly. They provide an easy understanding of language and teaching methods. They provide enough study materials to pass the subjects. Each semester has 3-5 university exams depending on which course we opt for. There are also 2 internal exams plus seminars and assignments for the internal marks. Attendance is also required for internal marks.
Other: The college has enough fests every year. It organises Christmas, Onam, and the annual day. It also has an ethnic day and food fest which are held in the middle of February. The sports day is also held in January. It also conducts extracurricular activities like academic competitions like moot courts, MUN, etc.
