It is good only for taking a degree.
Placements: Around 300 students got placed in my course. I don't know much about placements because there were very few placements. Many students come only to give exams, not to study. College only gives you a degree, nothing is more important to them, whether they invite companies or not.
Infrastructure: Labs, classrooms, and a library are available. There is no hostel in the college. Buildings are very old and dark, and there are no proper smart classrooms. Pigeons are present inside classrooms. Washrooms are not properly cleaned. There are no cultural programs.
Faculty: Faculty members are not helpful. They are not properly qualified or knowledgeable. Teachers do not seem to know what they teach and are unable to set proper exam questions. There is no proper syllabus. Exams include topics that are not taught, causing students to fail.
Other: The course includes AI and machine learning. Teaching facilities need improvement, along with proper notes and study materials.

Should I go to Chotanagpur Law College.
Placements: Placements are not very good like the national law university, but students depend on training in courts. Many students try for judicial examinations, many practice in courts under lawyers, and some go to legal firms. Most students don't go for placements. The highest package is around 5 LPA, and the average is around 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: All classes have digital boards. The classes are big, and there is a good ventilation system. The library is very big. You can study there. Access to Wi-Fi is also available. There is a canteen where you can find many items at very reasonable prices. It's a big campus. There is a volleyball court, and you can play chess, carrom, and indoor fun in common rooms.
Faculty: All the teachers are extremely good and highly qualified. They are very helpful and groom us very well. Exam papers are hard, but if you attend classes, teachers make it easy. They cover all the topics and teach us additional information about court training, etc.
Other: Regular events are held, such as moot court competitions, etc. The campus is very beautiful, and scholarships are also available.

Review of Gossner College.
Placements: The placements are not that good. Only a small amount of salary is provided to us for exchange of our 10 hours a day like Rs. 20,000 per month which is very little in today's economy so they should look into the matter and should improve this system.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good, it's top-notch. We got AC in corridors, which is great. The canteen is great, and the main gate is great. Classrooms are like the classes from school or something, it gives the vibes of a school classroom rather than a college classroom.
Faculty: The teaching is very helpful for me. Only a few teachers are bad, except that everything is good. But they should maintain discipline between students, as many students use cigarettes and tobacco in the washrooms, which is not good, so they should look into this matter.

You should take admission in this college only if you want a degree at a lower fee.
Placements: 50-60% of students are placed in college on campus, and the rest may live off-campus. The highest package is 12 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.5 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, and Flipkart are some of the top recruiters of our college. Students find internships on their own. The top role offered in our course is as a developer.
Infrastructure: The faculty members and infrastructure of our college for the Computer Science and Engineering department are good (Wi-Fi facilities are available on college campuses, labs are air-conditioned with Wi-Fi support, and classrooms and libraries have fans and Wi-Fi available). The food quality of the hostel mess is good, and the canteen food is also decent.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. Old teachers are the best, and newcomers are also good, but not that much better. The course curriculum is relevant, but not that much practical knowledge is provided. Semester exams are not that much different. They are of a moderate level.
Other: I chose the Computer Science and Engineering course because I am interested in the software and development fields. Our college should focus more on practical knowledge rather than theoretical knowledge. Not that many events are organized in our college.

St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, is a highly regarded autonomous institution known for its academics.
Placements: Our college offers good placements to several students in several companies, such as TCS, etc. Almost 60-70 percent of students got placements. The overall package offered is up to 8 LPA, and the starting package offered is 3 LPA. There are several rounds to clear the exam and then get a placement.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, our college is beautiful, neat, and clean. It has several areas such as computer labs, a library for peaceful study, and a Wi-Fi facility for our comfort. Our college is big and has a quadrangle in its centre, which makes it more beautiful.
Faculty: For Political Science admissions, the entrance test has a total of 100 marks, section A (40 marks, 20 current affairs MCQs at 2 marks each), section B (30 marks, 3 short answers on basic concepts at 10 marks each in English/Hindi), and section C (30 marks, one essay on national/international topics). This pattern emphasises current events, foundational knowledge, and analytical writing.
Other: St. Xavier's College, Ranchi, Political Science course has a strong track record of successful alumni (pass-out students) from its programs, though specific lists for the Political Science department are limited in public sources, so I chose it. Selected or top-performing students are recognised through prizes or placements. The department prepares graduates for careers in administration, media, NGOs, etc.

Good nursing college, especially for students from Jharkhand.
Placements: Almost everyone from my college gets placed. The highest average package goes up to 12 LPA with government recruiting institutes, and the lowest is 3 LPA. As it is a government hospital, the institute recruits many of the passing students. Students are required to do internships along with studies in our hospital itself, providing a lot of hands-on experience. Students pursue M.Sc. and other higher studies for a teaching career. Many get jobs in multi-specialty hospitals as NOs and hospital staff. Stipend is provided by the government.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are good, not great, but good enough! The hospital is great, and the hostel is fine but very expensive. Mess food is good and bearable, just like in any other institution. The college has a fest along with other students from MBBS and BDS departments.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and very experienced. Hands-on experience is very good; therefore, students are very workable in the hospital and follow new trends in nursing. Semester exams are difficult but doable. The passing percentage is 50 percent. Students need to have core knowledge, and for practical's, knowledge and clinical skills are required.

There is no requirement for percentage of 12th for any course offered at Ranchi University that requires entrance exams. But courses that depend on previous exam merit may take 12th percentage into consideration. Candidates need to know the usual percentage cut-off in these cases. Such cut-off varies in different courses. Anyone interested to know their chances can check previous year intake and cut-off and apply accordingly. For admission in BA and B.com course its 10+2 with 45 to 50 perent marks and in B.BA  its just 45 percent in class 12 so there is no as such criteria of getting admission in Ranchi University with 60 percent. A student can take admission in multiple courses with evern 45 percent only.
