Life at Mata Sundri College for Women, University of Delhi.
Placements: Mata Sundari College for Women typically sees placement rates ranging from 55-80%, depending on the department. The highest package is 7.9 LPA. The average package is 3.2 LPA. But many students opt for higher education. Around 90 percent of students choose internships during their three-year course. From time to time, the placement cell provides a large number of internship opportunities in fields such as business development, marketing, content, HR, teaching, finance, and research. The highest internship stipend is Rs. 15,000 per month. The average stipend is Rs. 8,500 per month.
Infrastructure: Keeping in mind that college is situated at a prime location in Central Delhi. It is surrounded by important government offices. Campus provides many facilities.A spacious auditorium with a seating capacity of 500 is also available. There is a canteen that offers hygienic food at affordable prices. We have computer and psychology labs. The college also provides facilities for sports and games. It also includes NCC, a campus stationery shop, juice corners, two beautifully maintained event halls with a seating capacity of 100 each, and a newly inaugurated hostel with modern facilities. Most importantly, the college is a Gurudwara. We have a well-equipped library with a vast collection of books, journals, and digital resources.
Faculty: Faculty of this college is very good. Every professor has a Ph.D. qualification in their respective subject. Many professors complete their studies at prestigious universities like JNU and DU. Moreover, faculty allows students to develop in all aspects and helps us understand concepts as simply and holistically as possible. Many students prepare for various government examinations. Faculty not only focuses on the academic curriculum but also helps us understand concepts beyond the syllabus.
Other: I chose Political Science Honors because I feel that I have the ability to understand political concepts. Also, analyze and compare the administrative and political systems of various countries. My keen interest in public policy makes me choose this course.

Mildly dissatisfied with the crowd.
Placements: The percentage of students placed is not yet known. The highest package is 6-7 LPA, average is 4-6 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top roles offered are either to pursue Masters or go for roles like Data Analytics, Data Science, AI or ML, Research scientist, Operations research, or any field with a strong math background.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available, but it works better only on the ground floor. Labs can hold up to 30+ students on a bad day. In classes, benches aren't very aesthetically pleasing but functional. The hostel facility isn't available. I'm yet to see the college grounds.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and qualified, but I see a gap in teaching skills. The course curriculum is relevant for the foundation. Practicals are conducted in languages suited for industry, i.e., SPSS and R, in the 2nd year. For semester exams, you're good to go if you go through the guidelines and PYQs.
Other: I chose it for job prospects, which used to be pretty niche but are now on the rise. Teachers who are more reliable with better teaching skills.

Mata Sundari College for Women (MSCW) is often seen as a "hidden gem" in Central Delhi.
Placements: The placement rate for History students is relatively modest because a large majority of MSCW History students choose to pursue B.Ed, M.A, or Law after graduation. The college placement cell is active, but History students often have to compete with B.Com and Economics students for corporate roles.
Infrastructure: There are no hostels. The infrastructure of the college is pretty average. It is not too bad and not too good. The infrastructure does not give that DU vibe. It gives more of a new modern building feel and less of the vintage DU vibe. MSCW is definitely underrated because it is a off campus college. Most people run after Hindu or Hansraj, MSCW offers a peaceful, safe and academically focused environment.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and well-qualified. Assignments are given on time. They give students enough time to complete and submit them, which is good as they don't ask for assignments at the last minute. Faculty here is highly experienced (many are Ph.D. holders from top universities) and generally more approachable than in the high-profile colleges.
Other: College life is pretty average in this college, and the crowd is a bit lazy. One thing I like about this college is that classes don't get canceled much. I mean, they do get canceled sometimes, but teachers inform us beforehand in most cases. Many kinds of events take place in the college, so it is not that boring. Cafeteria food is a bit overpriced for the quality of food, in my opinion.

Amazing college, better than all the off campus college of Delhi University.
Placements: Placements: The highest placement offered is 12LPA, the placement cell prayas however post regular job opportunities and internship opportunities for every domain. Placement fest takes place every semester where ngos to medium companies recruit students. Courses like B.Sc. and B.Com have higher placement rates and better placement packages.
Infrastructure: The library and canteen of the college are excellent, classes are non air conditioned except for 4-5, Wi-Fi works fine except in the basement, the canteen really has a variety of food from north to south to chinese and snacks and drinks. Gurudwara is probably the best part of the college, there are at least 4 to 5 computer labs and computers are available in the library for the students to work. There is no affiliated hostel for this college.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely friendly and amazing, and the course structure is on par with B.Sc. and B.Tech and probably better than private institutes. Despite the title of "BA", the course structure is very detailed and very informative. Even if the exams are more based on your critical thinking rather than ratta, if one takes classes seriously one can easily score well.
Other: One of the best things about the college is its prime location, CP is just 15 minutes away. College and fests are not very attractive as to what the expectations are but still you make the most out of it. The campus is small but the people are absolutely amazing and make your tenure worth it.

My experience at Delhi University College.
Placements: Around 40 to 50 students are in my course, so you can say my classmates. The highest package is around 8 LPA, which is good if you are good at studies, your academics will crack your interview, and you will get an internship after college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is average, as if you pay a good amount of fees, then you will expect a good infrastructure. I think the campus should be bigger. I like my cafeteria because you will not face any network issues there. Wi-Fi is also available. You can eat your food there. If you want to eat something, you can buy from the canteen, which is very affordable.
Faculty: The faculty is so good, they will teach you everything if you ask. If you have any doubt, they will clear it if you ask them. They will guide you for your future and provide personal guidance. For the semester exam, they're not that hard for some subjects, but if you have studied well, then I don't think it will be difficult for you.
Other: I chose this course because I want to save this for my upcoming career. I want to build my career in the financial field, and I think my course is very good, according to me.

This college is good.
Placements: Mata Sundri College is very good college for women in which placement facilities are provided. But mainly humanities students are going for higher education. The package is usually 25 LPA mainly. They provided abroad studies and for humanities students they promoted especially government jobs.
Infrastructure: The college is very beautiful. Wi-Fi facilities are provided. Hostel facilities are not provided in college. The classrooms are fully air-conditioned, and the most beautiful thing is its library. It provides canteen facilities.
Faculty: The teaching quality is so good. Teachers are very well qualified. They always give reading and provide books to help students. The questions are designed as a moderate. Teachers are always promoting students. The teaching style is so awesome and gorgeous. Teachers are so good and friendly to M.Sc students.
Other: I would like to share my experience. This college is my 3rd preference. I am very happy to attend this college. My course is honors. Lots of activities happen in college. There are lots of fun activities in college.
