Really good college, faculty, infrastructure, and environment.
Placements: College has a decent placement record, especially for students who actively participate in internships and skill-building activities. Around 60-70% of students in my batch got placed, with top recruiters being companies like Deloitte, Wipro, Infosys, and a few start-ups. The average package is around 4 LPA to 5 LPA, while the highest is 10 LPA. Many students also secured internships in reputed organizations through campus drives, which added good industry exposure. The roles offered range from analyst, HR, and finance positions to marketing and content roles depending on the course.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is quite satisfactory. Classrooms are well-maintained with projectors and Wi-Fi. Library is well-stocked with both reference and general books. Labs are up to date and provide all the required equipment for practical learning. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, Wi-Fi, and basic furniture. Mess food is average, but the canteen offers better variety at reasonable rates. Medical facilities are available on campus, and sports grounds with both indoor and outdoor games make student's lives active. Overall, the infrastructure is supportive of academics and extracurricular activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are experienced, approachable, and helpful. Most professors are highly qualified and explain concepts clearly, also guiding students with research projects and higher studies. The curriculum is well-structured and relevant, with regular updates to match industry requirements. It helps in building both theoretical knowledge and practical skills. Semester exams are moderately difficult, neither too easy nor extremely tough. The pass percentage is high if students attend classes and prepare consistently. Internal assessment also contributes to the final marks, which makes it easier to balance.

Supportive faculty, active campus life & promising placements.
Placements: The placement cell of JDMC connects students with top recruiters like Deloitte, EY, and KPMG, offering roles across finance, consulting, media, and social sectors. It also organizes workshops, internships, and skill-building sessions to prepare students for successful careers.
Infrastructure: Talking about the infrastructure, it is the best thing you will ever see. Overall, the college has 2 canteens (Nescafé and cafeteria). The food is good. Hostels are clean, the library has AC, and it's pretty aesthetic. The college area is pretty big and has a gym.
Faculty: JDMC has a highly qualified and supportive faculty that focuses on academic excellence as well as overall development. The B.Com (Hons) course here provides a strong foundation in accounting, finance, and business studies, preparing students for both corporate and higher education opportunities.
Other: The crowd at JDMC is vibrant, diverse, and actively involved in academics, cultural societies, and social initiatives. The campus is spacious, green, and well-equipped with modern facilities, creating a lively yet welcoming environment for students.

Average off-campus girls college.
Placements: As of yet, I have seen the seniors being placed, some of the recruiting companies are Zomato, Tata Power, E&Y, Mahindra, etc. The internships seem lacking, and most seniors tend to get placed off campus rather than on campus, yet the placement cell works hard to bring in opportunities.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure-wise, it is a beautiful college with lots of space and greenery. Although no Wi-Fi and no ACs, it's pretty decent. The library is pretty big and has books (you may find or not), a Kindle, newspapers, and even an E-resource room. It's a little old but functions well. I am a day scholar, so I have no idea about the mess, but the canteen food is very average but reasonable, there is a medical room, and a huge sports ground that facilitates many sports like volleyball, basketball, football, hockey, chess, etc.
Faculty: Okay, so on this, I have a mixed review as some teachers are very knowledgeable and helpful, but some are rather on the opposite side, and you may find the latter kind more in numbers. The course curriculum, on the other hand, does feel extra, as in the core subjects are nice, but anything beyond those seems like a waste of time and paper (large assignments). The semester exams range from mid to tough, generally mid, but sometimes easy papers are expected as well, and the pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I am currently a B.Com (Hons) student, and I thought it had a lot of options to choose from later when picking out a career, and the best thing about this course, I guess, will be that you come into contact with a variety of subjects. Improvements, definitely would like it in the teaching facility and the curriculum area. There are a lot of clubs you can choose from, they are fun, the events are fun and lively, the crowd is rather mixed, it may take some time to find your buddies, otherwise it's fine.

Just explore all the opportunities that it provides, and it will become a great place to call home.
Placements: There was not much of a placement cell for the B.A. programme. As far as my knowledge goes for this course, there was no recruitment, but with events happening. Around 10 to 20% people found what they wanted to do, but even they had external placement. Just explore your options in college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure was quite good, the courses offered are good, and the hostel was newly built, so it was decent as well. Library was beautiful, there were many societies that one can participate in, but it was crucial that you explore it all and be out there. All the other facilities were decent.
Faculty: Teachers were inspiring with a good curriculum in place. They did not give practical knowledge to make students ready for the world, but also provided practical knowledge. The semester exam wont feel too difficult if you pay attention in class and stay on track with the studies.
Other: I wanted to go into civil services, for which I chose this course. It was beneficial to me. The events were decent, dont expect too much.

Affordable DU college with decent placements and a supportive environment.
Placements: In our B.Com (Hons) course, around 60-70% of students get placed through campus drives or off-campus efforts. Highest package offered was approximately 10 LPA, with an average of 4 LPA. Top recruiters include Deloitte, EY, KPMG, and Wipro. Around 40% students got internships in companies like EY, NGOs, and startups. Roles like Audit Assistant, Marketing Executive, and Finance Intern were commonly offered.
Infrastructure: College provides smart classrooms, computer labs, and a well-stocked library with Wi-Fi access. campus is clean and well-maintained. Hostel facilities are limited but decent, with basic medical support, regular meals in the mess, and a hygienic canteen. Sports facilities include indoor games and a sports ground for outdoor activities.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-qualified, supportive, and knowledgeable in their respective fields. Teaching quality is good, with a focus on both theoretical and practical understanding. The B.Com (Hons) curriculum is industry-relevant and regularly updated. Semester exams are moderately challenging, and the overall pass percentage is above 85%, with students generally performing well if they attend lectures and stay consistent.
Other: Academic support and flexibility to explore internships and extracurricular activities. I wish the college conducted more skill-development workshops and had stronger placement preparation. The annual fest, cultural events, and active societies make college life engaging. The college surroundings are student-friendly with cafes and shops, and the overall environment supports both academics and personal growth.

Good academics, supportive faculty, but limited placements for philosophy.
Placements: For B.A. (Hons. ). Philosophy course at Janki Devi Memorial College, University of Delhi, latest placement data (2024-2025) indicates that approximately 30 students secured placements, with an average package of around 3 LPA and top recruiters including Snapdeal and Nykaa. Around 65% of students obtained internships at organizations such as Amazon, Snapdeal, and Myntra, while the overall college placement record shows packages ranging up to 11 LPA.
Infrastructure: Janki Devi Memorial College offers well-maintained classrooms, a digital library, campus-wide Wi-Fi, sports facilities, and a modern auditorium. Krishna hostel provides secure accommodation with Wi-Fi, medical aid, and basic amenities, though students have occasionally reported mess food hygiene concerns despite overall good infrastructure.
Faculty: Faculty in B.A. (Hons. ). Philosophy at JDMC is qualified, approachable, and ensures concept clarity. Curriculum is academically strong but not directly industry-oriented. Exams are moderate in difficulty, and pass percentage is consistently high.
Other: Extracurricular activities are well-organized. Hostel seats are limited, and PGs are common alternative. Interest in philosophy and a desire to pursue higher studies or civil services motivated my choice. Engaging discussions, supportive faculty, and a strong theoretical foundation. More internships, practical exposure, and dedicated placement opportunities. Active societies, annual fests, metro connectivity, clean surroundings, and good scholarship support enhance student life.
