Serenity of Janki Devi Memorial College, DU.
Placements: So I am reading for a B.A. English Honours and there are more than 60 students in my batch. The highest package is between 5 LPA and 8 LPA. EY, Accenture, Genpact, Zomato, Concentrix, etc. Students who got internship from my college are about 25-30 percent through the college's opportunity cell in digital marketing agencies, publishing houses, etc.
Infrastructure: JDMC provides a highly pleasing campus known across the Delhi University for its exceptional greenery, cleanliness, and solid infrastructural backing. If we talk about the hostel it features the modern infrastructure with triple-sharing rooms which comes with attached bathrooms, essential furniture, beds, tables, and wardrobes. The mess provides meals four times a day. The food quality is decent and hygienic with a good variety of items. The canteen is good plus the cafeteria serves a standard variety of snacks and refreshment at a very subsidised rate. JDMC maintains a medical room equipped with healthcare items and the sports room is standout feature.
Faculty: The faculty teachers are highly qualified with excellent teaching quality, and very approachable outside of lectures. The DU curriculum is relevant for critical thinking and writing also leans heavily towards theoretical analysis. Semester exams are moderately difficult requiring thorough reading of the text and analytical essay writing rather than memorisation. The pass percentage is quite high with over 90-95 percent students clearing exams.
Other: It offers excellent pathways for diverse fields like journalism, creative writing, public relations, etc. Best thing about the course is that it builds deep critical thinking lively classroom debates and exposure to world literature. Area of improvement students often wish for practical modules like digital content creation, publishing workshop, etc. In events we have symphony, the annual cultural fest of JDMC, we do have individual department fests as well, like Lumina by the English department which offers space for literary quizzes, poetry slams, and panel discussions. The campus vibe is progressive and highly vibrant plus active student societies like EVAM (dramatics), etc.

It is a perfect blend of a great crowd, helpful career opportunities, and quality education.
Placements: 35% of students get placements every year from different courses. Slaary offers are from Rs. 20,000 to 1 lakh per month. Younity company hires students from the college. 60% of students get internships in various job roles in different companies. The top role offered by my course is the civil services.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is pretty good and fabulous. There is a lush green and clean campus with all the requirements like library, auditorium, labs, canteen, grounds, fitness gyms, and emergency evaluation point. We also have washrooms, clean and well-organised classrooms with technologies like smart board, Wi-Fi set up, etc.
Faculty: Faculty members are very helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They teach nicely. Classes are held properly and regularly. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes us ready for the career we wish to pursue. Semester exams are not that difficult. Around 80% of students pass them easily.
Other: I chose this course because I want to pursue my career in the civil services. There are better options in GE. They are pretty good.

Absolutely satisfied with the college's infrastructure and system. Good facilities.
Placements: Maybe 40 of the students can get the placement in this course. Many foreign companies want the students from the human development and family empowerment department to enroll, and they pay them the highest amount. NGOs work for this department as well.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and the facilities are all so good. Classrooms and the library are so awesome. Canteen, sports and games, and medical facilities are better. Computer labs and hostel facilities, the quality of food that is available in the mess is also fantastic.
Faculty: All the teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The course is also relevant. It is difficult to manage tests CA, but not impossible. Everything works in sync. The faculty members are so humble and helpful. They never misbehave and guide the best. There's mentor mentees sessions as well.
Other: This course was so practical and related to social work, which fascinates me a lot. Thus, college and its fests, campus, events, connectivity, campus surroundings, extracurricular activities, everything is just so fab.

The college is good if you want to pursue a sociology Hons from this college.
Placements: JDMC is academically strong for sociology Hons, and it offers around 20 to 30 percent placement for students. Most of the students who have completed their Bachelor do study for higher studies like UPSC teaching and other social work. The highest package offered is 4 to 5 LPA, while the lowest package is around 2 to 2.5 LPA. NGOs and the social sector are mainly the top recruiting companies. 50 to 60 percent of students get internship during the course. Top roles like research assistant, Ngo programme coordinator and content writing.
Infrastructure: In my college, the Wi-Fi facility is good and if we look at labs, there are various labs in my college. Library is best because it contains lots of books. Krishna hostel is located in JDMC College. We talk about the mess, which is in good condition. The medical facilities sports and games are average.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful and well educated. If we look at sociology teachers, they are highly educated. Basically, a sociology course prepares students for social work and ngo related work. The results of the semester exams are mainly good. It prepares students for higher exams like UPSC.

JDMC is green and blue!
Placements: B.A. Hons Political Science is a very interesting subject. You can either prepare for other competitive exams; this subject will help you a lot, or you can do well through this subject as well in the future. I'm just a fresher here, so I don't know much about internships, but I would prefer girls preparing for some exams, be it teaching or other government exams.
Infrastructure: Small, cozy, and girl-friendly classroom is good with good ventilation. The internet connection is good. The best part is its library, which is large and very well maintained. JDMC is very serious about its sports. All 6 days in the morning, they conduct practices (for NCC and sports both).
Faculty: Everything is perfect. Semester exams are quite decent; you will not get any puzzling questions, rather direct ones. Teachers are helpful; they even provide you with notes. The course is relevant for those who want to do their further studies in Political Science or prepare for government exams.
Other: JDMC has a Diwali Mela called Jyotsana, then all other fests in February after completing the semester. Campus crowd is good.

Overall, the college is good.
Placements: My college is women's college which provides a good and safe environment for girls. The major priority of the college is to safeguard the students. Without any permission, you can't enter in college because of safety protocol. Students also get the opportunity to get internships. Students join NGO for social work and many other welfare work.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of the college are good with multi-storey building and many classes. Labs, library, and labs for computer science students are available with a strong Wi-Fi connection. Food quality is good in canteen. Medical facilities are also available for students. College organised many different sports too.
Faculty: Teachers of this college are very helpful and kind in nature. They provide sources to students in their studies and help during exams by providing the best sources and books for the preparation of the exams. You can easily score in this paper just by studying a month before exams, and the paper is overall based on current affairs so you have a good knowledge about the current events in the world.
Other: I chose this course because I wanted to pursue a career in political science. The best thing about this course is that it provides knowledge about how government should work and what the responsibilities of government are. The campus crowd is nice. College organised many different activities, and also provide scholarships to students. College fest is one of the best parts of this college.
