The hostel mess is spacious with a dining hall and kitchen where the students are offered a choice of vegetarian and non- vegetarian food. Girls hostels have their own mess. To entertain the students television is also kept in the dining hall for their relaxation. As tenders changes frequently so it is difficult to state about the mess food. But I have talked to some of the students of MCE - Meenakshi College of Engineering and they have told me that the food is edible (it is not too good, but okay as compared to other colleges). As I am also a student, I also think that the food served in mess cannot be very good, but it is good enough that you can eat it and won't get ill. It is also true that some students gets satisfied with the mess food while others may don't like it.
