December `13, 2024: The MCKV Institute of Engineering (MCKVIE) successfully conducted Phase 3 of the Innovators' Launchpad Program (ILP), continuing its mission to foster innovation and creativity among students. The session was led by Sayantan Mukherjee, a renowned Innovation Coach and Founder of Innovators' Garage, in collaboration with the Mahindra Technical Academy, Chennai.

This phase saw active participation from 24 shortlisted teams, selected from an initial pool of 51. The focus of the session was the Design Thinking Process, with a particular emphasis on the crucial Empathy Stage. Students explored the multifaceted challenges faced by their target users, analyzing rational, emotional, and social aspects to develop a deeper understanding of their needs.

To bring this process to life, participants engaged in role-playing exercises, simulating real-world problems to enhance their ability to empathize with users effectively. February 29, 2024: Supriyo Ghosh, a pre-final year MCKV Institute of Engineering student seeking a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Engineering, has become a pathfinder in the field of aerospace technology with an astounding display of intelligence and inventiveness. Ghosh recently led a ground-breaking effort on AI-driven methods for autonomous landing site recognition in partnership with the esteemed U.R. Rao Satellite Centre (URSC) in Bengaluru.

The college has good and helpful faculty, average placements, a good library, and a poor canteen.

Placements: About 50% of students are placed through on-campus drives, and the rest take part in off-campus jobs. The CTC is 10-15 LPA, and the average is 3-4 LPA. It is not at all a good college for any degree in 2025.

Placements: I am currently enrolled in the 2023 batch CSE course. The college is absolutely the worst in every aspect possible with below-average placements. I guess most of the roles offered are consulting, SDE, or SWE. MNCs like TCS and Accenture visit the college for placements, which is not a great thing.

Placements: Last year, 92% of students in my course got placement. The highest package is 45 LPA, the lowest is 3 LPA, and the average is 5 LPA-6 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS, Infosys, and Cognizant. 75% of students got good internships. Roles offered include software engineer, AI & ML specialist, and root engineering, etc.

My college is absolutely good and so much fun.

Placements: In our college many companies come and our college seniors sit to give interviews. Around 4 to 5 companies come to our college, like TCS, Mahindra, Amazon, etc. The salary package offered ranges from 5 LPA - 6 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Around 60% -70% of students are placed. Some students got internships from the from college and some got off campus.

Placements: Since it's an emerging field and a new course added in our college, next year's passouts will be the first batch to graduate. But, in Computer Science and Engineering, over 80% of students got placements. The highest salary package offered rang from 8 LPA. The average salary package offered was 2 LPA-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies include TCS, Amazon, Wipro, and Infosys. Internships were also provided. In my course, top roles include data analyst, data specialist, and others.
