A: 

After JEE session 2 is completed, only those candidates who are aiming for IITs need to start preparing for JEE Advanced after clearing JEE Main. Those who are above the 98th percentile should start preparing for JEE Advanced as soon as possible. Those below this, between the 95th and 98th percentile, should focus on attempting more mock tests and previous year question papers so that they have a better chance of clearing JEE Advanced

A: 

NIT Manipur JEE Main cutoff 2024 has been released for admission to the BTech courses. During the Round 1 cutoff, the closing rank for CSE was 25886 for the General category students under the AII India Quota. Among OBC candidates, the closing rank for B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering stood at 8750. Candidates seeking admisison to NIT Manipur can refer to the table below to check out the Round 1 closing ranks for BTech in CSE course for various categories under the AI quota:

D.PharmaCandidate passed 10+2 (science stream) with Physics, Chemistry and Biology or Mathematics or Any other qualification approved by the Pharmacy Council of India from any recognised institute/board are eligible to apply
B.E. / B.TechCandidate who have passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology & obtained at least 45% marks (40% marks for Backward class, EWS & PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) can also apply.
B.PharmaCandidate must have studied Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects along with one of the Mathematics/Biology subjects with above mentioned marks in the above subjects taken together from any recognised Board/Council. The mentioned marks of SC/ST and OBC is for the candidate belonging to maharashtra State. Candidates who are appearing at the qualifying examination are also eligible. Maharashtra State candidates must have to appear for MHTCET. All India Candidates need to appear for MHTCET/NEET. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in NEET over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHTCET.
Pharm.DCandidate who have passed Diploma Course in Pharmacy from institutes affiliated to State Board and having approval of competent central authority and State Government and obtained at least 50% marks (45% marks for Backward class, EWS and PWD candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) are also eligible.
M.E./M.TechSponsored candidate must have minimum of two years of full time work experience in a registered firm/ company/ industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
M.PharmaFor sponsored candidates, minimum of two years of fulltime work experience in a registered firm/ company/industry/ educational and/ or research institute/ any Government Department or Government Autonomous Organization in the relevant field in which admission is being sought.
MBA/PGDMCandidate must have completed minimum three year Bachelor's Degree in any discipline or its equivalent with above mentioned marks (45% in case of candidates of backward class categories and Persons with Disability belonging to Maharashtra State only) from any of the Universities recognised by UGC or AIU.
MCACandidate must have completed B.C.A/ B.Sc. (Computer Science) /B.Sc (IT) /B.E. (CSE) / B.Tech (CSE) / B.E. (IT) / B.Tech. (IT) or equivalent Degree with above mentioned marks from any recognised University/Institute. Excellent infrastructure with great sports and placement opportunities.
Placements: Placements are quite good at MET Bhujabal Knowledge City. Reputed companies like Tata Motors, Netwin, and Winjit visit our campus. Roles offered are usually Software Engineer, Data Science, and Data Analyst. The average package is around 4 LPA-5 LPA. The placement cell is very supportive and helps us with mock interviews.
Infrastructure: The campus is massive and very green. The engineering department has a huge 2-floor library, and every department has its own separate library. Security is very strict, no entry is allowed without an ID card, which makes the campus very safe. We have excellent facilities for cricket, basketball, gym, volleyball, chess, and badminton. Canteen food is too good and adorable.
Faculty: All our teachers are highly qualified with Master's in Engineering (M.E. /M.Teach) degrees. They are very knowledgeable and help us with our projects and field visits. The course curriculum is very relevant to the industry. Semester exams are conducted strictly, but if you study well, the pass percentage is quite high.
Other: I chose this course because it combines technology with design, which is the future. The best thing about our college is MET Utsav, which is a grand event with many extracurricular activities. The campus crowd and connectivity are also great. The total approximate fee for the course is around Rs. 50,000 per year (as per my records).

It has average placements, not top-tier, and can be considered.
Placements: It is the first batch under SPPU that has not passed out yet. So the exact placement can not yet be determined. But after evaluating other courses and branches, a strong estimation can be made. The highest package is 6 LPA-7 LPA, and the average package of 3 LPA-4 LPA can be expected.
Infrastructure: From the surface, the college campus is outstanding with good vegetation and biodiversity, with different species of plants and birds. However, the individual building's cleanliness can still be improved. In terms of aesthetics, washrooms can be clearer. Hostel rooms are identical to flats rather than a single room.
Faculty: Not recommended for non-Marathi speaking students as the major conversations are in Marathi, not just teachers, but also students. There is no way out, as most of them are not comfortable in Hindi and English. Non-Marathi speakers are in minority, so there is a lack of diversity likewise.
Other: There are sufficient co-curricular activities and events in the college like MET Utsav, Antarang, and various conferences.

My review of this college.
Placements: Placements are good here. Our regular recruiters are DE Shaw, Arcesium, Barclays, PWC, RBS, Bank of America, Deloitte, EY, KPMG, Bira, and many others. Various profiles that are offered here include investor relations, Financial Reporting, Management company accounting, Tax, Compliance, Management Reporting, Risk Analytics, etc. The highest package is 28 LPA. The average package is 9 LPA. There are different grounds of interview as well as some group discussions conducted, based on which students get placed into the recruitment with the package offering. Almost 70 percent of students get placed every year. There is also a separate placement cell.
Infrastructure: The hostel provides a lot of facilities including public to private facilities for both males and females. The dorms and washrooms are maintained and kept clean here. They also provide laundry service, medical services, and safety. The quality of food is healthy and they serve it 4 times a day in a specific time slot. The hostel facilities along with the fees are highly cost-effective and convenient as well.
Faculty: The faculty of this college is very learned and experienced, and they are taking classes regularly without missing any of them. The teachers are very strict about attendance and the college follows the strict rule on that also. They help us a lot while solving problems. The semester system followed for each subject consists of 100 marks, which is further divided into internal (30 percent) and external (70 percent). Internals are totally in the hands of the teaching faculty that's how they want to allocate marks. The internals comprise various case studies, individual and group presentations, surprise tests, attendance, class tests, class assignments, and behaviour. Course curriculum is constantly updated by providing relevant courses in the field of marketing, finance, operations, HR, and skill-building courses like analytics and digital marketing. Every subject is taught very well.

Academics and industry readiness at MET BKC. A balanced perspective.
Placements: At MET BKC Institute of Technology, almost all students get interview opportunities, but less than 10% crack them. The highest package is around 2-3 LPA, and while placements are limited, students can improve their chances through strong skills and off-campus applications. Nearly all students secure internships, which help in gaining experience, though job roles vary. To boost employability, students should focus on DSA, backed technologies Node.js, Express.js, MongoDB, and interview preparation. With the right skills and projects, better opportunities can be secured beyond campus placements.
Infrastructure: All the basic facilities are available, and the library is the best part of our college. We have a sports room and a gym. We also have a canteen that offers a variety of foods, and it is good.
Faculty: Faculty members at MET BKC Institute of Technology are qualified, but teaching quality varies. Some teachers are helpful, while others focus more on theory. Self-learning is essential for industry readiness. The curriculum covers the basics but lacks hands-on training in modern technologies. Students must work on projects, internships, and coding to be job-ready. The semester exams are moderately difficult, but with regular study, they are manageable. The pass percentage is high, so most students clear exams without much difficulty. Practical skills matter more for career growth than just passing exams.
Other: We also have Nashik's best college event called MET UTSAV.

Placements: The MET college offers a decent placement in Nashik city compared to other colleges. The college tries its best to provide companies and give students placements. Top recruiters are Wipro, Infosys, etc. The top salary package offered is 21 LPA.
Infrastructure: The college has the best infrastructure and campus in Nashik compared to other colleges. The campus is well-maintainedd and clean every day. The college has also its hostel and canteen. The hostel is outside of campus. The college is good in all aspects.
Faculty: Our faculty members are good and supportive. They support us in extracurricular activities and other stuff. The college provides mentors to 10 students. They guide their career and personal life.

It is the best college to take admission in Nashik.
Placements: Very few mechanical companies visited the college and those had high cuts so only a few students got the opportunity to attend the interview. Besides that, some MNC companies like TATA, Infosys, Cognizant, L&T, Accenture, and Wipro also visit our college.
Infrastructure: The college has a big library, sports room, computer labs, clean washrooms, digital boards in the classroom, good benches, greenery, and a well-equipped canteen. Hostels are quite good. The food is decent. We have a canteen and sports rooms. The hostel has good security so parents don't have to worry about their children.
Faculty: All teachers are well educated with M.Teach and Ph.D. Their teaching methods are helpful. They clear our doubts. Some of them have published their own books of respective subjects. Teachers specially take mentor sessions so the student can discuss their academic/personal problems.

The cutoff for computer engineering is ~86 percentile and for the IT branch is ~70 percentile and for the mechanical engineering is ~64.65 percentile, for the electrical engineering is ~35  percentile. It depends upon the branch you have selected.
