MGM UDPO was established in 2014 with the aim to provide the best education of Prosthetic –Orthotic and is a private institute. MGM Institute’s University Department of Prosthetics and Orthotics offers only 1 UG level programme, i.e., Bachelor’s in Prosthetics and Orthotics. The programme has a duration of 4.5 years and is recognised by the Rehabiliation Council of India, a government statutory body and University Grants Commission (UGC). Further, the programme also includes 6 months mandatory internships based on clinical placement and aims to enhance the student’s clinical skills. The internship starts immediately after the final year result, if the student has cleared all four levels.
