Lack of Infrastructure and other facilities.

Placements: Since the college, did not have PG Department for Botany, there is no hope for placements. Even if there are PG Departments for Physics Chemistry and Zoology there is no room for placements. So helplessly, no recruiting companies to point out. I completed my B.Sc. in Botany in the year 2022. I'm from the batch 2019-2022.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure and other facilities are needed to improve. There is not enough classrooms for the students, since both B.Sc. . Botany and B.Sc. . Biotechnology departments are merged into one Department due to lack of building and classrooms. No Wi-Fi and No separate Library for Botany Department. Labs are of average quality. There are shortage of good microscopes and other laboratory equipments. When comes to College Hostel, it's worth paying. Relatively low fees compared to other college hostels. Good food is served there. Besides all the campus is live and there are rooms for extra curricular activities like, NSS, NCC, Art club, Science club etc. The college is giving more importance to Sports and Games and each year many students are getting national level selection from the College. College Canteen is so good and it is what fulfills the entire campus life here.

Faculty: Teachers as well as the lab assistant are really helpful in both academic and other activities. They are qualified teachers and work effortlessly to get good results every year. They teach each concepts very clearly from the base level itself and they are open to ask doubts anytime. The Botany department in this college is one of the strict departments in this college. The course curriculum is relevant and teachers are really motivating. Even if the pass percentage is nearly about 40-45, there will be top scores in the college. In my batch (2019-2022), I got 11 th rank in B.Sc. . Botany and there were 3 other ranks from B.Sc. . Biotechnology from this College, they are 1st, 3rd and 5th ranks.

Other: The course period in which I completed my B.Sc. in Botany is 2019-2022. The subject Botany have many career opportunities and Botanists are needed in every sector for a sustainable improvement in every sector, say agriculture, industry, tourism and medicine. That's why chose that subject. It will be better if the college take care of granting new building and classroom facilities to the department of Botany. As I have already mentioned, there is room for all other extra curricular activities and there occurs food fests, flash mobs and other events frequently. A good campus to enjoy college life.
