Maharashtra Academy of Engineering Alandi Pune (also known as MIT AOE Alandi Pune) is an autonomous private institution. MITAOE is stablished in 1999 and is only the third institute in Pune that has been bestowed with 'academic autonomy' by the University Grants Commission (UGC). It is affiliated with Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU) and has been accredited by the NAAC with Grade 'A'. Additionally, MIT AOE Alandi Pune is approved by the National Board of Accreditation (NBA). At the undergraduate level, the MIT AOE Alandi Pune offers BTech courses to students. MIT AOE was established in the year 1999 by Prof. Dr Vishwanath D Karad; since then, it has won numerous accolades for offering best-in-class education. MIT AOE has been approved by the University Grants Commission of India (UGC) and given academic autonomy. MIT Alandi Pune has won the award for the 'Best Engineering College' given by Savitribai Phule University ( SSPU). The institute has all its courses approved by NBA, and it has also received a grade A certification from NAAC.
