Mithibai College offers PhD programmes through its 10 departments in the fields of Arts, Science and Commerce. Admission to PhD courses at Mithibai College is based on the scores of national level entrance exams. To get admission to PhD programme,  candidates are required to appear for PET or must have a valid score in the UGC NET/ SET/ GATE/ JRF examination of the apex bodies such as CSIR/ UGC/ ICAR.

Yes, Mithibai College conducts a Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to postgraduate courses in Arts and Science. Candidates seeking admission to Mithibai College PG courses must appear for the entrance test. As per the latest notification released by the colleges, the entrance exam is likely to be held in the first week of May 2023. As for the UG programmes(BSc, BCom, BMS, BA,.etc.) candidates must qualify Common University Entrance Test also known as CUET UG, a national level entrance exam conducted by NTA for admission to UG courses.

Mithibai College MA Psychology is a two-year postgraduate-level course offered in a full-time mode. To be eligible for the MA in Psychology course, candidaates must have Bachelor's Degree with Psychology from University of Mumbai with Psychology (Minimum 3 papers of 300 Marks). As for the B.A. with Psychology from other university (Minimum 3 papers of 300 Marks) at their V and VI Semester are eligible to apply for the programme.
