Absolutely satisfied with faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.
Placements: Students in our batch have scored at least 55%. They are offered a salary of Rs. 18,000 per month on Clock Hour Basis (CHB). Permanently appointed professors are offered a salary of at least Rs. 90,000-1,20,000 per month. Some were offered around Rs. 2,00,000 per month. Many national and multinational companies recruit students of M.A. in English for posts like HR, paraphraser or transcriber, etc. But generally, we prefer to be a professor.
Infrastructure: Our college provides various facilities. There is a free Wi-Fi service on the entire campus. Digital classrooms are very helpful for concentrated and easy learning. Our campus has a huge library consisting of at least 25,000-30,000 books from all over the world in different languages and for different courses. Hostel facilities are also very nice. Especially the canteen and sports are too good. The campus has a huge swimming pool for both girls and boys.
Faculty: Our teachers are highly qualified. All of them are NET/SET qualified and PhD holders in their respective subjects. They are helpful and kind. Teaching quality is too good, and they always justify questions from students which means they are knowledgeable. This course is a compact of personality development and knowledge of various cultures as we are being taught English literature of different cultures like Indian, American, British, African, African-American, etc. It makes the students aware of social issues in different situations, and the grip on language makes us confident enough to get the job.
Other: I have chosen this course because I always wanted to be a professor and English as being my favourite subject was chosen by me. Best things about this course are that one gets to know about the culture and social crisis since the 15th and 16th centuries which results in the growth of various perspectives in students for looking at everything. Almost all courses around the globe, this course also has extracurricular activities like Avishkar Project, Budding Project for provoking student's abilities while scholarship programmes like Sarthi Fellowship assure students with handsome financial support.
