Our college has very good faculty members, but it needs improvement.
Placements: This is only a normal degree college under the governance of the West Bengal government. In our batch, only two students got jobs, one in West Bengal Police and the other in India Post. In the locality. there is no option for any type of internship. Nowadays there is some microfinance company.
Infrastructure: We have our designated classrooms with air-conditioners. There are 3 practical rooms in our college, one for electronics, one for mechanics, and one for optics. We have access to the public Wi-Fi only which is decent. In our college library, there are so many books on Physics. Although the college does not have any hostel in it. There is a canteen.
Faculty: Our HOD Sourav Karar is a gold medalist from IIT Bombay (2013). He is very good at teaching Physics concepts easily to students. We had many faculty members during our course. They all tried their best to teach us. We were the last batch with 3 year systems, so I cannot tell the difficulty of semester exams.
Other: I love Physics, so I chose this course. The college should add a hostel on the campus.

It is a government college where you can pursue your B.A and B.SC degree in some selective subjects.
Placements: The college does not offer you any recruitment or salary package or internships. Neither any company does come for placements. If you want to pursue a B.Sc. or B.A. degree, I can say it is not as that much good college.
Infrastructure: The college has labs for physics, chemistry and maths. However, this college does not offer you any degree in botany or zoology, subjects, so their facilities are very limited. This college does not have any private hostel, but there is a canteen in college premises from where you could buy packet foods, and if you want a full meal then you have to notify them in the morning about our full meal lunch.
Faculty: Teachers of our college are well qualified. In the physics department, there are faculty members who graduated from IIT Delhi, ISC Bangalore, Shantiniketan, etc. Whenever you go to them and ask for any help, they do help you. This is not an engineering degree, i.e., any B.Tech that you could pursue. So, it does not make you industry-ready. Teaching quality is average.
