Totally satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: In arts group there are no option for placement. But our teachers always tries to give gideline about out career. Because this is a government aided college. So government tries to give lots of facilities as student credit card, NSS, NCC etc. Those are very effective to prepare students for career journey.
Infrastructure: No hostel facility for this college. You have to stay anyone's home if your house is too far and you can't journey from there. In every department college gave printer and computers. And those computers are decent. Every department have separate stuff room.
Faculty: All exams are held by Kalyani University. And faculty of this college are very experienced. Most of faculty are teaching from long time. And the curriculum is also very strong for any student who want to learn. Also internal exams are frequently taken by teachers.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our college. The highest salary offered was Rs. 40,000 per month. The average salary offered was Rs. 25,000 per month. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 16,000 per month. There are no top companies for recruitment. No students get internships in this course. Top roles are also not offered.
Infrastructure: Our classrooms are not huge. It has a small laboratory where many products are missing. Wi-Fi is also available in our college. The library is in good condition. There are no hostels at our college.
Faculty: Teachers are average. They are very helpful and qualified. I am not satisfied with the teaching quality. They only teach us orally. The course curriculum is not relevant. It does not make students ready for the industry.

NVC - Review of B.A. course.
Placements: 80% of students got the opportunity in the course. The average salary in our course was Rs 6,000. 4 to 5% of students joined various government jobs so far. If there were no 75% attendance in college, semester exams could not be given.
Infrastructure: College library was very good for studying, and department rooms were good. I never stayed in a hostel. So, I did not know what hostel services were like. Special arrangements were made for various sports. Even sports competitions were held every year. I formed my own cricket team and became a champion.
Faculty: All our teachers were very helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teachers explain every subject so beautifully that it stays in your memory for a lifetime. Semester exams were not difficult if you studied well. 90 % students passed here. I studied well, so I didn't fail.
Other: I chose Bengal literature honors course because I like writing about Bengal literature. I write poems and stories also. I think the syllabus could be made better.

Our college doesn't provide placements for humanities students.
Placements: Our course students appeared for competitive exams to get jobs or interviews after passing out exams. Arts students don't get placements after the course.
Infrastructure: Our college had well-built classrooms and limited Wi-Fi for faculty members. The library was well endowed with various books. Hostels accommodated 500 students. There was a canteen facility and a sports ground with limited space. Our college building was small.
Faculty: Teachers in our college were helpful and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good with ample opportunity to learn things outside the syllabus. The course curriculum was relevant. More than 50% of students from our course passed the final exams. Our college followed yearly exams set up by Kalyani University. Exams were tough and needed elaborate study to pass with satisfying marks.
Other: I chose B.A. in English because I want to learn the language well for a better future. The best thing about our course is that I got sufficient knowledge regarding English literature. The course curriculum should focus on English literature from our country with European literature to give students a taste of our rich literature. Our college provides Kanya Shree and SVMCM scholarships. It organises a freshers program to welcome freshers every year.

Placements: The placement quality of our college is good enough. They provide placements to students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA and the average salary package offered is 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered is 42 LPA by Microsoft. In our college, around 90-95% of students are placed every year.
Infrastructure: The college has enough infrastructure for good study. In our college, lab equipment is available for practical implementation of things. The library is too good with all books relevant to our academics.
Faculty: Faculty members are so helpful and well-qualified. Lecturers are very supportive to clarify our doubts. We want to study many subjects like the theory of computation, database management systems, and information and web technology subjects. This course will make you industry-ready and job-ready.
Other: There are many events conducted in our college like technical events and non-technical events. Many sports events are also conducted in our college.

The infrastructure of the college is the best.
Placements: The placement record of NVC is not so good. Hardly, a few students are placed in the placement drive by the college. However, the placement cell is working upon it and will bring a concrete solution to the same very quickly. The college has a helpful, delightful, and good atmosphere.
Infrastructure: The library of NVC has been subscribed to the N-List. This provides the students access to e-resources, more than 6000 e-journals, and 31,35,000 plus books. It has a calm reading room with zero disturbances. You can study in that and the atmosphere is good.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in their way. They encourage the students and are very helpful. The college helps you in every case you find any problem. The teachers are also very helpful. Good placement is a big problem but that is not going to be resolved unless you study hard to get good results. Then you can gain anything.
Other: I was from a business family so I like business and I love accounts so I chose the stream. My dream is to become a businessman.
