If you have an option to go somewhere else, then do not come here. The campus rules are strict.
Placements: Most of the students passing from here are placed as there is a scarcity of doctors during COVID times. Students are working in AIIMS state hospitals and other reputed private hospitals. Most of them choose to take a break from work and prepare for PG examinations.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available here. The food served in a mess is average. Hostels are crowded. Sports facilities are very less. The library is good. Some classrooms or lecture theatres do not have an air-conditioned facility. Overall, it is not worth the money we pay here. Labs have adequate apparatus, but they are not up to the mark.
Faculty: The college is strict about conducting the exams. They will take your exam no matter what. Strict NMC guidelines are followed. Few teachers are knowledgeable. Semester exams are a bit tough. Students do go in suppli during university exams which becomes a serious concern.
Other: All-year-round activities are conducted on the campus. Due to COVID-19, there are no such fests.

It provides good teachers, exposure. But there is miserable outdated infrastructure.
Placements: Placements in our course depend mostly upon interviews and entrance, and it does not make much difference. For clearing an interview students to need vast knowledge and experience, and this depends on how a college manages academics and gives students first-hand experience by directly allowing them to face patients. This is why patient flow is one of the most important factors students need to analyse before selecting a medical college. In this aspect, our college has satisfactory patient flow, and teachers are also highly experienced, and knowledgeable.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a major backlash of our college. Wi-Fi is provided only 30 MB per day, which is of no use. Classrooms are average, the library is better than the rest of campus. Hostel facilities are miserable. Food quality for girls hostel is far better than boys hostel. Outside the hostel on our campus, students have 3 canteens one of them is a cafe which is a life savior. On our campus, there is a football field, 3 badminton court, table tennis, and also a gym, but the gym is again not up to the mark.
Faculty: In MBBS, only registered doctors can teach students so there are zero compromises in academics and patient exposure as, students have a decent patient flow in our hospital. Semester exams in our college are tough. Students should be thorough with the syllabus to pass the exams. In semester, the pass percentage is 50%.
Other: Being a doctor is a dream of many and it needs lots of courage and dedication to be ready to face actual patients, and provide them relief. After the recent amendments, the course makes students more clinically sound i.e. more practically ready to face the real medical situation. Various events are organised in our college, like CFD which is college festival days, in which there are all kinds of activities students can participate in like sports, cultural, and quizzes. Students also have a cultural committee that tries to keep entertainment on campus alive by organising various events. There is no campus life in this college.

I am kind of satisfied with the college in terms of faculty and study parts but not the hostel part.
Placements: My batch is 2021-2022. My course is MBBS. It is a course of 5.5 years which includes 4.5 years of studying and 1 year of internship as an intern doctor in the hospital attached to the college itself. My batch consists of 150 students but currently my college takes has upto 250 seats for this course .
Infrastructure: The classroom are well built and properly equipped with the projector and SMART classroom equipments. All the classrooms have AC installed in them. We have a Wi-Fi option available around the whole campus in just 399 rupees per month. The hostel facilities are not that great. We have sharing rooms which are also not spacious. Food is oily sometimes .
Faculty: The teachers are well qualified and are enough knowledgeable. The curriculum the college follows is NMC based. This curriculum designed makes the students ready for the real world challenges and real medical issues. The semester exams are fairly strict are difficult. The pass percentage is 80.
Other: This course makes you a doctor. Which is ready for the nation to serve the people. I wish they would include more practical knowledge than the theoretical one. My college has ab annual fest that is huge and truly wonderful .

Perfect place to enter medical fraternity
Placements: I'm currently pursuing my MBBS, batch 2020-2021. There are a total 150 students in the batch, the MBBS guidelines by NMC don't exactly leave it upto the college's choices to teach the students. Gaining internship is not a hard deal in the course. It's just about the zeal and respect in pupils about the colleagues, teachers, juniors. The college makes you capable enough to live a royal life afterwards. It even offers certain post graduate programs.
Infrastructure: The college is not as old as many other institutes. But the rate of its progress is surely much better. The infrastru imrpovement takes place annually, feedbacks and reactions are apt. WiFi is provided in Libraries, Classrooms and libraries are fully air conditioned. Food in the mess, canteen, cafeteria, food court, and other fod corners is perfect. The best part is every place it whole heartedly open to suggestions and criticism.
Faculty: The teachers are so passionate about the subjects that they teach, that we as students naturally develop an interest there. The teaching qualities and methods are top notched. The students are as ready to face the world. Semester exams are levelled enough to prepare us to face the professional examinations.

Our college has good faculty members and provides good facilities.
Placements: Around 150 students got placed as medical officers after MBBS. The average salary package offered was Rs. 72,000 per month. Bihar government or any other state government will recruit students. Almost 100% of students got internships at Narayan Medical College. MBBS is the top course, along with B.Sc. nursing, B.Pharma, D.Pharma, agriculture, LL.B., BMLT, DMLT, etc.
Infrastructure: Laboratories are very good. The lecture theatre is fully air-conditioned, and seats are provided with cushions. Professors use microphones to communicate with students. The hostel facilities are average. Around three students can stay in each room. The food quality is average. Sports are also available.
Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and knowledgeable. They teach us very well. MBBS is a very noble course. Patients are also available at this college. Semester exams are tough. The pass percentage is 30%.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a doctor. This course is perfect, and nothing needs to change. Every three months, festivals are held. Our campus is good. The patient quantity is very good. Extracurricular activities like NMO, camping, sports, and cultural programs are conducted at our college.

Reality of Narayan Medical College and Hospital.
Placements: Since it is an MBBS, there are no placements offered by the college. After completing the tough and hectic 4.5 years of study, students get an opportunity for a 1-year internship, during which they are paid around Rs. 15,000–Rs. 17,000. Since the internship is a doctor’s first earning, students feel happy even though the salary is low. The workload is not much and is average.
Infrastructure: The hostel is not good enough. It feels like just surviving there. The mess food is okay.
Faculty: Teachers set very difficult papers, as if they want students to fail, but that is not the case. They do this so that students gain enough knowledge to pass the exams and become good doctors. At this college, students really need to study hard to score good marks. Professors are good enough. Some have strong knowledge, while others are average, but everyone is willing to make students study. Like other medical colleges, they do not waste time.
Other: There is no campus life. The campus is small. After 7 in the evening, students are not allowed to move out of the hostel in summer and after 6 in winter.
