Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2025

2Placements2Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the best colleges to pursue BCA.
Placements: College doesn't provide any placement opportunities to the students. About 50 percent of the students were placed from our previous batch by their own effort. The highest package offered for our students is recorded as Rs 20,000 per month. The minimum salary is known to be Rs 10,000 per month. Usually, our college students depend on other agencies or do internships to find a job. College doesn't provide an internship opportunity to the students. Top roles offered for our course include computer engineer, software developer, back-end developer, front-end analyzer, etc.
Infrastructure: For our course in our department, there is a computer lab available about 50 desktops and Wi-Fi connection. Classrooms are well-equipped with good ventilation and lighting facilities. We have an average library with a good collection of books relevant to BCA. There is no hostel facility available in this college. Food available in the canteen is just average. College doesn't provide any medical facilities to the students. Various sports and games are encouraged in the college, which include cricket, football, volleyball, chess, and badminton.
Faculty: Teachers are found to be helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is experienced as awesome. I found this course and syllabus to be relevant in this era, especially in the AI era. The course makes the students ready for the industry. I experienced the course as medium difficult, and the exams are conducted correctly each summer. Exams are conducted by the university. The minimum pass percentage is 50 percent.
Other: I chose this course mainly because I love working from home. This course enables us to have many paths to do a job from the comfort of our life. The college should immediately start a placement and a training cell. The college needs to sign MoEs with the major industries relevant to this course. They should improve library by collecting more relevant books. I also recommend that the college provide hands-on training with new methods and projects to make them industry-ready.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2028

I am absolutely satisfied with my facility.
Placements: No students were placed from our college through the college placement cell. Some got internships in a few companies with potential skills and good marks, like 90% and above students. The top roles offered are software development and Data Science analysis.
Infrastructure: The college doesn't have a hostel yet. They say it will come or open a hostel within this year. Now, students are staying in private hostel rooms. Also, most of them are day scholars in this college, so they don't use hostel facilities. Also, most of them, 90% students, are day scholars.
Faculty: The college faculty is very good and disciplined, and knowledgeable teachers and their support make students happy. Also, the principal is a very kind-hearted person who gives us programs, etc. The BCA semester is very difficult, and the fee is also high compared to other departments.

B.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2023
2.6
1Placements1Infrastructure4Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the best colleges to pursue B.Sc. in physics.
Placements: The college does not provide any internship opportunities or placements. It is backwards in making opportunities for students. The college does not have a placement cell. Students want to find a job on their own after the completion of the course. Mostly after completion of B.Sc physics, students are working at low payments. So students either continue their studies or move to another field. From my batch, some of my friends continue their studies. Some do internships outside. They are working as data scientists with an average payment of Rs. 15,000.
Infrastructure: The college is situated in a rural area. The college does not have a hostel facility. There are plenty of students studying here from outside cities. They usually find accommodation by themselves. Our classrooms were well-maintained. We have projector facilities. Wi-Fi is not available all the time. The laboratory is good enough. The library is small but has many relevant books for the field. The canteen is small. It can accommodate up to 40 students at a time. Medical facilities include only a first aid facility. A hospital is available nearby. The college promotes various games and sports. We can participate in the university championships.
Faculty: Our teachers are very good and friendly. They are highly educated and trained. Our curriculum as well as the syllabus are pre-determined by the university. It is good and makes students industry-ready. Exams are conducted in each semester. Exams are moderately hard. The minimum pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course to become a data analyst. The best things about the course include practical lessons, experiments, etc. I request the college to immediately take action to provide opportunities for students to find good jobs. Various events and programs are conducted throughout the year in association with various cultural as well as academics. Various extracurricular activities such as seminars and webinars are conducted throughout the year.

B.Sc. in Physics - Batch of 2024
3.2
2Placements2Infrastructure4Faculty5Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the best colleges in the area to pursue B.Sc. in Physics.
Placements: College doesn't have a placement cell. Students are required to find jobs by their end. The average package offered is Rs 8,000 per month for freshers. Finding a job after graduation in Physics is found to be hard. So many students are selecting medical coding as a profession due to the availability of opportunities other than teaching. Some of them selected data science for their higher studies. College forces the students to do internships as well as projects outside the college. Top roles offered by the course are lab assistant, teaching, quality controller, etc.
Infrastructure: College doesn't provide hostel facilities either for boys or for girls. Our department has Wi-Fi facilities. We also have laboratory facilities. Classrooms are neat and vast, and have enough space. It also provides projector facilities whenever needed. When it comes to the library, it has a lot of books relevant to our field but library is small. Canteen is not much spacious but can carry at least 100 students at a time. First aid facilities are arranged by the college. College provides opportunities to participate in various sports activities and games across the university level.
Faculty: Good faculty members are the assets of this college. They are well educated and trained to teach in their discipline. Teachers are so much supportive and friendly. Course curriculum is relevant and determined by university. Exams are moderate in my experience, and are conducted at the end of each semester. Minimum pass percentage is 40%.
Other: I chose this course to become a data analyst. The best thing about the course is that the fee is less, industry-oriented syllabus, etc. I would like to suggest my college make an active placement cell soon.

Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) - Batch of 2023

1Placements1Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life3Value for Money
One of the best colleges I pursued.
Placements: Our college doesn't provide any kind of placement opportunities from their side. Students are required to hunt for the job on their own. No dedicated placement cell is present there. No companies have approached yet in my knowledge. Some of my classmates, including me, went for a paid internship after the degree course. Some of the students were placed as software developers in some private companies with a stipend of 10 to 15 thousand rupees per month. The companies are Elon Software Services, Acadia Health Services, etc. Top roles offered include software engineer, software developer, etc.
Infrastructure: We have good classrooms. Wi-Fi facilities are limited to laboratories and the library. The library is small but has a decent amount of relevant books for our discipline. The college doesn't have hostel facilities. A limited number of outside students are present, and they depend on outside PG for accommodation. Various sports games like cricket, chess, badminton, etc., are encouraged there. The canteen is not enough to carry the needs of students as it is small in size and always crowded.
Faculty: Teachers are the assets of this college. Many highly qualified professors are present there. They teach students in the way they like. They are friendly as well as advanced. The course and curriculum are determined by the University of Calicut. It is relevant and has the capacity to make the students ready for the industry. Exams are sometimes difficult and sometimes easy. The minimum pass percentage is 40.
Other: I chose this course to become a software developer. I suggest my college provide better internship and placement opportunities to the students. Various events often take place in the college regarding cultural and academic activities. No scholarship schemes are available to the students. Various extracurricular activities take place here, like workshops and seminars.

B.Com. in Computer Application - Batch of 2024

1Placements3Infrastructure3Faculty4Crowd & Campus Life4Value for Money
One of the best colleges to pursue Bachelors in commerce.
Placements: About 50 percent of students were placed in many companies. The college does not have an independent placement cell. The students are required to find out their job themselves after course. The companies in which my friends got placed includes Areno Calicut, Reno tech Ltd., etc. The average package offered is 15,000 per month. The highest salary is 20,000. Major roles from my batch includes accountant, statistician, stock manager, etc.
Infrastructure: We had good classrooms and other basic facilities. Wi-Fi was limited to computer labs. The library was small, but it was rich with the books related to our college, which does not have a hostel facility as this is mainly focusing on rural local students. The canteen is small and is not adequate to feed the whole class. Sports and games such as volleyball, basketball, cricket, etc. are encouraged here.
Faculty: Teachers were one of the assets of our college. They are highly qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good. They are trained to use all the modern tools to ease the burden of our study. The course curriculum and syllabus are relevant to our discipline, and it does make the students ready for the industry. Exams are conducted in each semester by the university, and it is sometimes felt easy and sometimes moderately hard. Minimum pass percentage is 50%.
Other: I chose this course as this course offers good job opportunities after studies. Various events were conducted in our college each year, which includes both academics and culturals. Extracurricular activities such as seminars, webinars, and workshops are conducted rarely. The college is facing serious connectivity issues as the college is located remotely. Campus is small and is always crowded.
