IIT Delhi BTech Cut off Trends: 2019 Vs 2020 Vs 2021
In the graphs given below, the closing ranks of 2021 for BTech specialisations are compared with closing ranks of 2020 and 2019 for General category (Gender Neutral) candidates. Candidates must note that the decreasing trend implies an increased level of competition. On the contrary, an increasing trend implies lesser competitive ranks.

With the release of 2021 R6 cutoff data for BTech programme, most of the specialisations, including, Computer Science & Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering (Power & Automation), Engineering Physics, Mathematics and Computing and Production and Industrial Engineering offered by the institute have exhibited a fluctuating trend. The cutoffs mostly improved in 2020, however then declined in 2021 for the top specialisations. Candidates can check out the below graph to analyse the trend over the past three years:
IIT Delhi BTech Cut off Trend: Declining
The remaining BTech specialisations, including Biotechnology & Biochemical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering and Mechanical Engineering have exhibited a deteriorating cut off trend over the past three years. As per the analysis, in 2021, the cutoffs have declined in the range of 100-200 ranks for these specialisations in comparison to 2020 cutoffs. For more details, refer to the below graph representing the cut off data of the past three years:
IIT Delhi BTech Cut off Trend: Improving
