When any vacant seat arises after the completion of the BTech admission process at NIELIT Aurangabad. The institute majorly follows the two rules:

• Preference shall be given as per the ranking in the common merit list.
• Secondly, if a candidate got shortlisted in the merit list but failed to reach the center for admission due to any genuine legal reasons. 

 NIELIT Aurangabad does not announce specific dates and schedules for spot admission for the BTech course. Moreover, spot admission is granted against available vacancies only; applying in advance does not guarantee admission. NIELIT Aurangabad has not released official placement 2025 data for the BTech course. As per some of the verified reviews on Shiksha, students have mentioned that the highest placement package is INR 25 LPA. The institute provides summer internship opportunities. The internship generally takes 6 weeks, post which a certificate is awarded to the participants. The final-year students are eligible to apply for summer internships. The students must hold a minimum of 75% attendance to be eligible for summer internships. The institute also shortlists the candidates on the basis of their performance in the mini-project conducted at the end of the course.
