SRCC has the best academics without an iota of doubt.
Placements: In recent years, placements have seen a slight drop, but overall placements here are still quite good. No student gets a package worth less than 4 LPA, and the highest placements have crossed the 30 LPA mark too. Bain & Company to top consulting firms have made SRCC their first choice when it comes to placements.
Infrastructure: Our college does provide hostel facilities to students, but as they say, very limited seats are available. So, it is difficult to get hostels, but those who get them are blessed. In-time for the girls' hostel is around 9 PM, and for the boys', it is 10 PM. The campus is a little small, but the SRCC clock tower stands out among every other facility that our college possesses.
Faculty: The enlightened knowledge and experience that one gets from SRCC faculty members is why students die to get admission here. They are quite humble, and that to me is the best quality that they have. More than the course, it is the SRCC badge which I wanted so badly that I have taken admission here.
Other: I have enjoyed the posts of the societies like anything. Academics are always at the top, but society functioning and all teaches a hell of a lot.

The SRCC experience from a second-year student.
Placements: Mostly, students who are serious about placements usually get placed. The top recruiters for my course, B.Com. (Hons.) are the Big Four. The top roles are generally the ones offered by the Big Four to fresh graduates. The highest package is around 36 LPA CTC, while the lowest is around 4.5 LPA, and the average package is approximately 8 LPA. Usually, more than 100 internship offers are available, but only the top 1% of students get shortlisted for them.
Infrastructure: There is Wi-Fi throughout the campus, and the library is open until 8 PM. All the classrooms in the college have air conditioning. The classrooms are currently being renovated, with digital smart boards being installed. The food quality in the hostel is decent and better than that of many PGs costing around the same. For sports, we have a sports complex, a gym, and a football ground next to the sports complex. All the sports facilities are built to Commonwealth-level standards. The hostel also has a dedicated common room with various sports and games available.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable about the subjects they teach. The teaching quality is also very good. They never hesitate to solve students' doubts, either inside or outside the classroom. The course is a little outdated considering current employer requirements. However, I think the campus provides various learning opportunities outside the classroom, which help make students industry-ready. The semester exams are manageable if you prepare well. The pass percentage remains very high, as it is relatively easy to pass the semester exams with proper preparation.
Other: I chose this course because it was closely related to what I studied in Classes 11 and 12, as I had a Commerce background. The course could be improved by including subjects that make students more industry-ready. Other aspects, such as events, fests, and scholarships, are excellent.

Come with an open mind, and you'll find an ocean in front of you.
Placements: In my course, almost all students who sit for placement interviews get offers. However, a lot of them consider going abroad or to IIMs after their undergraduate studies for better future prospects. 36.25 LPA is the highest package. 6 LPA is the lowest. McKinsey, Bain & Company, BCG, & Goldman Sachs are the leading recruiters. 95% of students get internships in their sophomore year. Top recruiters include Bain & Company, Deutsche Bank, DE Shaw, and NITI Aayog. Some top roles offered in my course are Investment Banking Analyst, Business & Management Analyst, Associate Consultant, etc.
Infrastructure: I can proudly claim that SRCC has, without a doubt, one of the best infrastructures in the whole of Delhi University, whether it's Wi-Fi, labs, library, or classrooms. All facilities are maintained up to the mark. We also have a multi-purpose sports complex, which is by far the best in DU. The physio, sauna bath, and other medical services are really decent in SRCC.
Faculty: Most of them are decent. They empathize with students. In case we're late for classes or a student needs any special help in understanding something, they're always there. I would not like to rate the guest faculty on the same lines, though, because sometimes in between the lectures, they seem to be more confused than the students. The curriculum develops a level of higher thinking, which basically helps you a lot when you move out for jobs. The exams, as far as I've heard from my seniors, are not very tough compared to the internal assessment.
Other: I was talking to a lot of my teachers and seniors about what career path I should choose. They all told me to go with my interests. Hence, I landed in Economics Honours. Since high school, I have been interested in Economics. I perceive it as a way to understand and solve real-world problems. We have Hindi classes, which I don't find very productive, though they're very interesting. You've got the best people from all over the nation here, and it's a fact that we have the best events, fests, crowd, and faculty support.

Worthy of being called the dream college of every commerce student.
Placements: The placements are very good. The highest package is about 35 LPA. The median package is 7–8 LPA. Top companies come here to recruit, such as EY, KPMG, HUL, etc. Top roles offered by companies are tax consultant, financial analyst, business consultant, and much more.
Infrastructure: Facilities are pretty good. The library is the best. It has a lot of varieties of books. Moreover, the mess and canteen offer tasty and hygienic food. Sports facilities and gym facilities are also really good. The place is very spacious and lovely. Wi-Fi connectivity is pretty good. Every room has its own Wi-Fi.
Faculty: Teachers are absolutely knowledgeable and qualified. They always try to connect the theory with the practical perspective to broaden our understanding. Moreover, they are very passionate about their respective subjects. Semester exams are moderate in level. The passing percentage is pretty high.
Other: I have chosen B.Com (Hons) as it aligns with my CA preparation very well. It is a very practical and dynamic course. One thing that can be improved is adding more practical insights to the course. The fests are certainly the best. There are various scholarship opportunities. The crowd is very diverse, which makes the place even better.

SRCC: The dream college.
Placements: The placement is good overall as compared to any other college in DU or commerce field. Other colleges have very bad placements. Here atleast I can have hope of getting a good placement with a good overall college life. The competition makes you even better, that's it.
Infrastructure: For a government college it's quite good. Centralized air conditioning is the best thing about our college. It is quite small for the best commerce college of asian tag, but compared to North Campus or entire DU, I think my college is really good. I also personally love the sports complex.
Faculty: Professors are good. They have good, respected, educated, trained staff for each and every subject. Classes are regularly conducted. Attendance criteria are not negligent. The professors are full of knowledge and experience which makes learning more fun.
Other: Good crowd is there.

SRCC: The dream college review by a first-year student.
Placements: The placement cell is one of the most highlighted aspects of SRCC. The brand value that the name holds attracts the top recruiters overall. The competition remains tough. Although one holds maximum chance of getting placed at a reputed company if the CV gets shortlisted, it takes A LOT to get it past that stage. It wouldn't be wrong to say that an average CV of an SRCC student might even be better than the best CV of the other colleges. So the competition is what makes it tough otherwise ample opportunities are provided.
Infrastructure: I would say that the infra is pretty good. We are provided with all the essential facilities and even though problems arise, they are addressed by the authorities in very little time. The college canteen has been functional since the last week (second week of August) and not so soon after that, a petition was filed concerning the hot and humid temperature. It was addressed by the authorities within less than 4 days and the AC's have already been installed. The construction work seems to be happening recently since the college has entered its second century.
Faculty: I think the faculty is one of the main reasons that make SRCC stand out compared to other north campus colleges. Some highly qualified individuals don't just disseminate information like high school teachers but also help us do critical thinking. The plus point is that almost all the professors have published or assisted in writing various books from their field of study (which are also used to teach in other colleges).
Other: SRCC offers only B.A. Economics Hons and B.Com (Hons). I am enrolled in B.Com (Hons) because it provides more career options than Eco Hons. Given that I don't really have my life and interests figured out. I wanted to keep the maximum options in view so that I can explore and discover my niche during my college period. The annual fest Crossroads is among the best fests in DU and other than that the college societies keep arranging various events in which famous personalities are very often invited as guests so it provides a great platform for building connections. Overall I would rate the college (keeping various factors in mind) as 9/10.
