National Institute of Fashion Technology, Haryana has below criteria for taking admissions to it's various courses:

B.Des	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.
B.FTech	Candidate must have passed 10+2 from a recognised board.

Fashion Designer, Textile Designer, Accessory Designer, Interior Designer, Graphic Designer, Web Designer, Game Designer, and Furniture Designer are some of the job profiles available after studying design courses. NIFT 2025 cut off list will include details like the opening and closing ranks of candidates for each participating institute and category. Among the various categories for which the cut-off would be released include General, SC, ST, OBC-NCl, Domicile, and PwD categories. The candidate needs to consult the cut-off for their respective categories for the programme they are seeking admission to.

The opening rank is the highest rank for which the seat has been allocated. On the other hand, the closing rank is the minimum rank for which admission is allocated. Only such candidates who secure a rank equal to or higher than the closing rank will get admission.

National Institute of Fashion and Technology (NIFT) has declared written exam results online. Candidates who have applied and appeared for the written exam must login using their credentials on the official website at nift.ac.in.

• A login window will open
• Enter details including email address and password
•  The result of NIFT 2025 would be displayed on screen

The candidate will need the following documents to participate in the NIFT counselling process: Class 12/ degree mark sheet and certificate. Further, if the candidate is seeking admission to the PG course, then the candidate will also have to upload mark sheets and certificates of the qualifying degree examination.

In case of candidates who have appeared for the qualifying exam/ compartment (of final year/semester) and the result is due need to upload the date sheet /admit card for the examination. Other documents required are a Birth certificate, Category certificate, Medical fitness certificate, signed by a Registered Medical Practitioner in the prescribed format in original.

When you join a BDes programme, you learn about the fundamental concepts of Design in the first year. You would not be expected to have any previous knowledge or background in the field of Design. You would learn subjects like Introduction to Design,  Elements of Design,  Creative Visualization Techniques,  Design Drawing,  Design Thinking,  Principles of Design,  Physical Ergonomics and Rendering & Illustration.

The B Designing course syllabus is not the same for all colleges and differs on the basis of the specialisation and the college where you plan to pursue the course. Each design institute has certain curriculum guidelines to adhere to; while some core subjects might be similar, the rest of the program-specific electives vary, along with industrial workshops, project work, and design studio lessons.
