Welcome to Chitkara: the campus life.

Placements: No backlogs should be there in student's whole degree course. Percentage should be above average. In design field, our college placement is somewhat slow, and it's average only. Placement packages are also not very high in terms of designing. If you have to take admission here, must take admission exam that is UCEED and clear it.

Infrastructure: AC are provided in every classroom. Infrastructure is so beautiful, creative yet modern and class. Love the environment and vibes of the university. Hostels are also very well maintained. Actors also visit in our university for music video shoots or movie shoots.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in teaching. Have knowledge of the course. Faculty teaches according to the curriculum provided. Exams in design schools are taken as juries of per subject taught. Have to make presentations and explain it on the day of exam or jury.

Other: Fee structure varies from year to year for study course and hostels. Food quality of hostel is okay. But there are a lot of food outlets and options in our college cafeteria. And the taste and price is also quite decent. Environment of college is amazing. There are monthly DJ nights are being organized for hostel students. Faculty is also very polite and good in teaching. Hostel food quality must be improved in terms of taste and everything. Designing is very well taught in our university. And engaging in terms of the course the activities to make students learn everything.

An Average Chitkarians life.

Placements: 60-70 percent were placed in our course from the previous batch, so from my knowledge, it is 8.5 LPA. Many companies come, like Wipro and many more, so according to me, 70 percent of students get internships, but it is based on student knowledge too, so it may differ. The top roles offered are UX Designer, Senior UX Designer, or UI Designer.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our block, which is named Picasso Block, is amazing. It is one of the best blocks on our campus, and the classrooms are also good. The library is different for every course, like designing different and engineering different, but there is a main library too. The mess food is below average, and the canteen is good; it has many options for students to eat, so yes, it's good. Sports and games are also very good on our campus, and there are many clubs as well for participation.

Faculty: The teachers are good, but the thing is they treat students like they are in school still, with many limitations and strictness. Other than that, the faculty is international too, which brings new knowledge and curriculum to us. Exams in our college are such that the designing department takes a jury for every single project, and it is based on your learning. If you have studied and know the basics, it will be a bit easy, and if not, it will be difficult for sure.

Other: I chose this course because it is something new to everyone and can help us in the future in many aspects. The best thing is learning new software and exploring new things. They should improve the curriculum and give students more liberty in terms of studies and not make students feel like they are still in school.

Faculty: Teachers are supportive and knowledgeable. They have a great grasp of the subject they teach. They also keep giving us tips on how to survive in the industry. The jury system helps students to get an overview of where they stand in the journey. Faculty members and jury members are all industry experts who are well-connected with the industry. They guide us on our creative journey and also advise us on our creative practices. They also help us to get into the best network. Teachers help us with our projects as well. The course is for 4 years.

It is a very good college for students.

Placements: All students got placed in this course. Many exchange programs are conducted to showcase our talents along with various events. The compensation package is also excellent. Internships are also offered at this college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is excellent. All classrooms are well-maintained. There is a decent library in this college. Laboratories are perfect. Our campus is Wi-Fi enabled. I am a day scholar, I do not know about hostel facilities. I have heard from friends that the hostel is good. The food served in the mess is excellent. There is a gym facility in this college.

Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers are friendly with students. The course curriculum is relevant to make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are easy. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I opted for this course because of my interest in it. I adore practical studies more than theory. There is no need for any improvement. Events and fests are excellent. Our campus crowd is very good.

I am satisfied with the faculty and placements but there could be some changes in security rules.

Placements: Chitkara Design School is great. It provides a great education. About 80% of students get placed in good companies depending on their portfolio. The average salary package offered for graduates ranges from 8-12 LPA. Around 80-90% of students get internships from good companies. Some top roles offered in my course are graphic designer, motion designer, etc. The university has a great teaching staff and ensures student placements to a large extent.

Infrastructure: There are various facilities, such as a separate library for design students, as well as a common library for all department students. The college provides its own Wi-Fi as well. There is a separate block known as the Picasso block for design students, and based on specialisation, different floors are offered. There is a separate place called Sportoium where there are facilities like a gym, pool, courts, basketball court, etc. The hostel also has good infrastructure. There are AC and non-AC rooms with single-sharing, double-sharing, triple-sharing, and four-sharing rooms as well.

Faculty: There are great faculty members. Teachers are very approachable and helpful. They are always there to guide us. All teachers are well qualified from great colleges. The course curriculum helps students develop portfolios which help them in their job interviews. The pass percentage is 50%.

Other: I am quite interested and keen to learn about design, so I chose it.
