One of the best pharmacy institutes in India.

Placements: Our institute offered some reputed pharma company internships to the students, and after the internship, they got more placement offers from these companies. Most of the departments achieved 100% placement this year. The rest of the departments have achieved 70%-80% placement.

Infrastructure: The institute is equipped with Wi-Fi, air-conditioners, and smart boards. The new campus of NIPER Kolkata has better infrastructure than the old one. One can get free access to all the journals by connecting the device to the college Wi-Fi. The teachers are highly qualified, like IITs, IIMs, and IISC.

Faculty: The syllabus for the master's students is generally very strenuous in NIPERs. One has to study the history in their syllabus thoroughly to pass the exam. A total of 22 subjects were taught in the first year. The teachers help them to understand topics, but won't spoonfeed them.

This college is really great for MS.Pharma.

Placements: The percentage of the students that get placed in our college is 100%. The college also provides the students with internship opportunities which is 100%. The college has an average placement package of 12 LPA - 15 LPA. Many students got placed with above average package.

Infrastructure: The facilities and the infrastructure of the college are good. We have all the facilities available to us such as a big library, classrooms, and labs. The food quality in the mess and the canteen is good. It is very well maintained.

Faculty: Our teachers are extremely helpful. They are very qualified. The teaching quality is mostly practical, making the learning more effective. The course curriculum is also very relevant and makes students industry-ready. The pass percentage is 100%.

My review about this college.

Placements: The placement cell of the college works for the final year students in fetching good and reputed jobs in popular and good brands. Many of my classmates were hired by Ranbaxy and Cipla with a high salary package and some even worked in the hospital. The pharma companies visited our campus and we were also provided with internship opportunities as well. We were provided with a stipend of almost 5000 - 15000 INR. During the final placement week, a large number of pharmaceutical companies and professionals walked in with job offers. Salaries were decent here.

Infrastructure: Exam pattern was semester pattern actually it was not that kind of hectic. Practicals were very frequent in the second year. There was only project work so we had to do lab work all the time. There were frequent presentations we had to make in the second year. Hostel was provided within the college campus. I did not opt for the hostel as I am the local president of Kolkata. Hostel infrastructure was moderate and was available for both males and females. Food was also provided along with extracurricular activities for the boarders.

Faculty: Faculty members of our college were highly experienced. They provided us with a great environment to learn, and their communication skill had great power to make any explanations short and helpful. Apart from this, they helped us with our doubts and provided us with a vast amount of knowledge. The training and the workshops were organized by the faculty members. Professors were highly experienced in their respective fields. The course curriculum was amazing. It really was the best way one could learn and could keep trying and making mistakes so that in the future those mistakes would not be repeated.
