The best of Bihar's education.

Placements: Almost all the students of my branch got selected in different companies like Infosys, Wipro, and many more. Minimum package is about 1.8 LPA and maximum is 2.3 LPA. Every student did an internship while in their course as it was compulsory to do. Top roles offered include entry-level positions in software development, IT support, and networking.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure was such a very large (as per the 10th passout students). Park was also available on the campus where students can spend some free time or take a break. Classrooms are so large that they can accommodate about 150 students at once but the maximum capacity is just 60. Labs for every subject or course are available like Physics Lab, Chemistry Lab, Mechanics Lab, Language Lab, Computer Lab, and many more for all the branches. Wi-Fi facilities are also available but only in the labs. Now it has been improved a lot. The library is also available.

Faculty: Teachers were so helpful as I studied there in COVID times, teachers personally dialled the students for the classes and were organised regularly, and all were highly qualified teachers. Most of them are at least Ph. D.-qualified. This course curriculum is relevant if you are going to join development sectors and for other companies that offer their own training. Semester exams are above average as they can be passed only if you study regularly and the pass percentage is 35 percent. You have to score a minimum of 35 percent in each subject to pass.

Other: I chose this for my career growth in the IT sector as in 2019 as it is increasing rapidly. The best thing about CSE is that you learn many things that help you get ready to contribute to any sector like development, networking, and more. All is well but some need an improvement in the course. More languages should be added to the course to filter out more students and encourage them to contribute more. Events and fests are organised at every moment to make it memorable.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of poor placement, poor lab support, and poor practical knowledge.

Placements: In NGP Patna-13, there are zero placements in computer science and engineering domains due to the negligible number of companies visiting here. Since covid students have started to pursue higher studies like B.Tech. In my previous batch, about 2-3 seniors got paid internships when they just worked for about 6 months duration just to get exposure to industry after that company hired them as interns from selective group. In the past, companies such as Infosys visited. But in the current year, there are no such companies visiting to hire students.

Infrastructure: There are physics, electronics, and computer labs in this college with full Wi-Fi support. But the internet speed is not so good most of the time. The condition of classroom is also not good. Even class fans are too old such that it does not work well, and classes are mostly dirty not clean daily in the previous year. We get the facilities of library for studying, before that only book issue was done. The food in the hostel is very poor. There are no medical facilities. Sports facilities are good, which lasts for about 4 months.

Faculty: Some faculty members are good. Most of them do not care even though they are pursuing Ph.D. But they do not have atleast 50% knowledge of syllabus. The course is mainly theoretical-based, and it does not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are not too hard, if any student starts studying before 2 weeks. They can easily score good marks just by viewing previous year's questions. But, the marking done by teachers is poor because they do not have any prior knowledge of syllabus. They are in the teaching field, which leads to poor copy checking.

Other: I chose this course because I think that I get practical knowledge in computer science field. But there is mostly theoretical knowledge, and teachers do not provide practical knowledge. They themselves do not have much knowledge about those topics. There is scholarship for students from state government scheme such as PMS scholarship, etc.

My college is good, please take admission in it.

Placements: In my college, about 75% of students got placed in this course, and the highest package in my college is 4.7 LPA, and the lowest is 3.5 LPA, which is good and the top recruiting companies like TCS, Maruti Suzuki, Ford, etc., recruited. 75% of students also got an internship.

Infrastructure: In my college, high-speed Wi-Fi, a high-tech lab and classroom with a smartboard are present, and my hostel or message facility is decent. The mess food is also decent, not good. It charges Rs. 30,000 per semester and hostel charges Rs. 7,000 per semester.

Faculty: The teachers are helpful, qualified PhD and also knowledgeable, and their teaching quality is also the best of my college teachers. The course is also relevant, and exams are very difficult in my college, the passing percentage of the semester examination is 75% in my college.

Other: I chose this course because it is my aim, and many events and fests are also held.

This college is the best for Polytechnic students for placements.

Placements: New Government Polytechnic College is one of the best colleges in Bihar. Many students get placed every year in companies like Tata, Blue Star, etc. The highest package of the college is around 4.5 LPA. The average package of the college is around 3 LPA.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. There are 4 hostels in the college. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are fully air-conditioned. The quality of food available in the mess and canteen is of the best quality. Medical facilities are available in the college. Sports and many games are played every year.

Placements: Only 2 students are placed from New Government Polytechnic Patna in computer science and engineering in my session 2022-25. Mostly start-up companies come to my branch CSE. You can get internships from the college because park is located near the college.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of New Government Polytechnic Anik, Patna are good. Every class has a smart classroom and full Wi-Fi. It has many labs. There is a good exposure of library, and also every two years competitions are held.

Faculty: Faculty members of NGP are qualified and selected by BPSC exam. There are 1 to 10 teachers. Some of them are very well knowledge about their subjects. They are very friendly but within limits. Normally curriculum in every semester includes only 5 subjects, and rest of them are lab and teamwork.

Other: There are seven courses like computer, science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, and civil engineering. Every year, two or three fests are organised by the students. Some of these are freshers party, farewell party, and Saurya Utsav, which is a sports event.

It is a good college with decent placements.

Placements: Only 2 students got placed from the New Government Polytechnic Patna 13 in the Computer Science and Engineering course in my session, that is 2022-25. Mostly, startup companies visit the college to hire students from my branch. We get internships from the college because the IT Park is near the college.

Infrastructure: Facilities and the infrastructure of the New Government Polytechnic College, Patna 13, are good. There are smart classrooms. It has full Wi-Fi. It provides many labs and a good exposure to the library. In a year, two sports competitions are held.

Faculty: Faculty members of NGP, Patna, are qualified and selected by the BPSC exam for 1 to 10 teachers. Some of them are very knowledgeable about their subjects and are very friendly, but within limits. Normally, the course curriculum in every semester includes only 5 subjects, and the rest of them are lab and coursework.

Candidate must have passed Secondary Examination or equivalent 10th class examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board. Applicants who have appeared in the secondary examination or equivalent examination of the year 2024 are also eligible for the Polytechnic Engineering course, but on the basis of this examination, it is necessary to pass it by the date of commencement of the first counselling.
