The summary is that all facilities are provided by the government.

Placements: About 80% of students get placement in the last semester. The highest package of my college is 5 LPA and the lowest is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Wipro, Blue Star, Tata, etc. Top roles offered by the company are assistant engineer. About every semester, everyone gets a placement.

Infrastructure: The hostel has all the facilities like role faculty, 24/7 electricity, and a mess facility. The food quality is average. And also the hostel as well college has Wi-Fi facility. In college, all facility is provided by the government, like smart board, AC, Wi-Fi, and all basic facilities.

Faculty: All teachers are well qualified and have been joined by clearing teacher exams like CTET, etc. They are all supportive. The education quality is awesome. The course is specially designed for students to be ready for industrial applications. The passing percentage is 90%.

Other: I chose this course because after 10th grade, it offered engineering, which helps to earn money at an early age. The best thing is that we don't need to complete an intermediate course for this. After the 10th, you can join it.

A stepping stone to a bright future.

Placements: Only 2 students are placed from New Government Polytechnic, Patna in computer science and engineering in my session that is 2022-25. Mostly start-up companies come to my branch CSE. You can get an internship from the college because the college park is near the college.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure of New Government Polytechnic Anik, Patna are good because every class has a smart classroom, fully Wi-Fi, and giving too many labs. There is a good exposure of library, and also in year two competitions are played.

Faculty: Faculty members of NGP, Patna are qualified and selected by BPSC exam, 1 to 10 teachers. In my college, some of them are very well knowledgeable about their subjects. They are very friendly but within limits. Normally, the curriculum in every semester includes only 5 subjects, and rest of them are lab and term work.

Other: At New Government Polytechnic Patna, there are seven courses like computer, science and engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, mechanical engineering, automobile engineering, and civil engineering. Every year, two or three fests are organised by the students. Some of these are freshers' party, farewell party, and saurya utsav, which is a sports event.

I am satisfied with the college, but not with the faculty.

Placements: A very small number of students get placed every year, only 10-15 students from some specific branches. Companies like Infosys and Bluestar come for placements. The package rate differs between 10,000 to 25,000. Mostly, students who get a package will not get that job.

Infrastructure: The college campus is too small to be called a college, perhaps the hostel is big enough. The college and hostel are not in the same place, and you have to cross a road to go between them. The whole campus is covered with Wi-Fi, but sometimes it doesn't work.

Faculty: Faculty members are educated and have high degrees, but they don't know how to interact with students and don't seem to teach correctly. Most teachers are working in the private sector, even though it is a government college. Semester exams are easy to crack if you study a little.

Other: There are no problems with events, there is an event every month. As part of extracurricular activities, you can play games everywhere in the college.

So, it's a great platform for you to begin your journey.

Placements: So, to start, in my college, the total number of students is 90, and some of them had gotten placements in Bluestar at 3.5 LPA CTC as pre-placements, and many of our batchmates would get placements in the last semester; about 80% of students have done internships in their respective choices with reputed companies, and I hope all of them get what they desire.

Infrastructure: Overall facilities are quite satisfactory, as expected from a government college, we are provided with Wi-Fi, a library, labs, and classrooms with digital boards. In the hostel, the quality of food is good, there are various dedicated sports grounds, and we also have an annual sports fest.

Faculty: Our teachers were a great help to us; they are qualified and hold a deep understanding and knowledge of their respective fields. They provide in-depth knowledge of topics and also offer assistance to academically weak students. They use practical knowledge to make us industry-ready, and exams are easy for those who study, with the passing marks being 28 out of 70.

Other: This is overall the best decision of my life.

Candidate must have passed Secondary Examination or equivalent 10th class examination conducted by Bihar School Examination Board. Applicants who have appeared in the secondary examination or equivalent examination of the year 2024 are also eligible for the Polytechnic Engineering course, but on the basis of this examination, it is necessary to pass it by the date of commencement of the first counselling. Note:Other conditions of AICTE may be applicable as specified by the Department of Science, Technology and Technical Education, Bihar. There is no maximum or minimum age limit. Medical examination will be done of selected candidate for admission. The Candidate will be given admission only if found eligible in the medical examination and Separate fee will be payable for health test. Candidate who are citizens of India and fall under at least one of the following residential categories are eligible for admission: (i) Whose parents/husband/wife are permanent/native residents of Bihar. (ii) Whose parents/husband/wife are refugees registered in Bihar. (iii) Whose mother/father/husband/wife are employees of Bihar Government. (iv) Whose parents/spouse are employees of Government of India posted in Bihar or employees of Government of India undertakings/institutions posted in Bihar.
