NIELIT provides Protsahan Puraskar Scheme for SC/ST/physically handicapped and female students studying NIELIT O/A/B/C level courses. Below is the criteria for availing the scheme:

- The income of the parents of the student from all sources should not be more than INR 2.50 LPA
Candidates applying for MSc or PG diploma course have to pay an application fee of INR 1,000 + 12% GST (INR 500 + 12% GST for SC/ ST). For O/ A/ B/ C level programmes, the application fee is INR 500.
