No, NIT Kurukshetra direct admission is not applicable to any of the courses. All admissions are merit based using national entrance exams. After qualifying, the applicants have to attend JoSAA or CCMT or such counselling. Admission to the institute closely adheres to a transparent admission system.

Yes, the students may come to NIT Kurukshetra after completion of Class 12 by passing JEE Main. Applicants should have studied PCM or PBM at 12 th grade. A Diploma holder can get admission to B.Tech 2nd year (lateral entry) in colleges affiliated with Kurukshetra University by applying through Haryana State Technical Education Society official site, usually based on Diploma marks or the LEET exam.
