Good learning environment with helpful teachers and an active campus.

Placements: I completed my BBA from NSHM Durgapur, and overall, experience was decent. Our batch, around 65 to 70 percent of students, got placed. Highest package offered was nearly 6 LPA, lowest was about 2.5 LPA and average package came to around 3.5 LPA. Top recruiters included Deloitte, Wipro, TCS, HDFC Bank and a few good startups. Around 60 percent of students also managed to get internships in companies like ICICI, Reliance and other reputed organizations.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure for BBA course at NSHM Durgapur is good. Classrooms are spacious, well-furnished and have smart boards with proper ventilation. Campus has good Wi-Fi connectivity, a well-stocked library and seminar halls for presentations. Though it's a management course, there are computer labs for projects and online work. Hostel facilities are decent with clean rooms, regular water supply and basic furnishings. Mess food is average with a mix of vegetarian and non-vegetarian options and canteen has affordable snacks. Medical facilities are available on campus. There is space for indoor games and a ground for outdoor sports.

Faculty: Faculty for BBA course at NSHM Durgapur is helpful and approachable. Most teachers are highly qualified with strong subject knowledge and they make classes interactive through discussions, presentations and case studies. Curriculum is well-structured and covers important areas like marketing, finance, HR and business communication, which makes students more industry-ready. College also organizes seminars, workshops and guest lectures to add practical exposure. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty but very manageable if you attend classes and prepare regularly. In general, pass percentage is good, and teachers provide proper guidance, notes and support for exam preparation. Faculty members are quite supportive.

Other: I am from BBA course at NSHM Durgapur and chose this programme to gain strong business and management knowledge. Best parts of course are supportive faculty, interactive teaching and opportunities like seminars, workshops, and projects that add practical exposure. Yet, more industry visits, live projects, and top recruiters for placements would make it even better. Campus is lively with fests, cultural events, and active student clubs. Crowd is friendly and diverse, and campus surroundings are peaceful with good connectivity to city. Scholarships are available for deserving students, which is an added benefit. Though the college can improve industry exposure and bring in more recruiters.

Best college for BBA in Durgapur.

Placements: Our college offers a good percentage of placements and internships for students. My course is BBA, and this year the placements for BBA were excellent. Students received an average package of 2-3 LPA, while the highest package, as far as I know, is between 5-6 LPA. 95% of students secured internships through the college.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. The classrooms are spacious, and the desks are of good quality. We have projectors in every class for digital learning, and Wi-Fi is available to everyone on campus. All the labs are fully air-conditioned, and the hostel is also suitable for students coming from far away from home. Indoor games and a gym facility are also available.

Faculty: All the faculty members are highly knowledgeable and qualified. Their teaching methods are excellent. I don't know about other courses, but in our course, the content is very relevant to business and our future jobs. Both theoretical and practical teaching are provided by the college. Exams are quite challenging here, and there is little chance of cheating. If you study well, you will pass with good grades.

Review of NSHM Business School, Durgapur.

Placements: 100% of students are provided with summer and winter internships. About 95-96% of students are placed during their internship period. I'm currently in the second sem and already 6 students have been placed with good packages in various administrative roles in the hospital.

Infrastructure: The campus provides free Wi-Fi to all the students, I'm not a hosteler but my friends in the hostel are getting every facility with good meals. There's a canteen for day scholar students for lunch, a cafeteria for gossip, and a sports complex for different games and sports.

Faculty: The Maharashtra course has a very helpful set of faculty team with a great HOD, who has excellent industry knowledge. The faculty team provides students with notes and suggestions and is extremely knowledgeable and helpful. They also provide extra classes and doubt-clearing sessions along with career guidance and prepare us for interviews.

Other: I have always had a passion for leadership, which led me to pursue this course. Coming from a hospital background, the college offered everything I needed. Alongside academics, we organized the farewell for the 2023-25 batch and received a warm freshers welcome from them. Our college hosts the annual Fest Blitz, sports day, inter-college tournaments, blood donation camps, industrial visits, and cultural events. The CRTT team has strong networking with hospital managers across India, giving us the flexibility to choose internships nationwide. This blend of academics and extracurricular has enriched my overall learning experience.

NSHM College Durgapur: A leading hub for professional and technical education.

Placements: Placements are average. Companies visit the college every 6 months and we can apply if we are in 1st year also. In sports management, internships are provided every month and by attending internship sports students can gain knowledge more. Students get internships in Cricket Stadium for international matches also. I also worked in a recent match of India vs England.

Infrastructure: Facilities are not that good but we get clean and hygienic rooms every day. We also get a Wi-Fi connection. Hostel students get a canteen card and a gym card. Labs are more advanced for B.Tech students which helps them to perform well in their work. The library is full of books which helps students sit, read, and gain more.

Faculty: Semester examinations are not that much difficult. Teachers help students by giving exact and related questions which comes in the semester examination. They provide the best notes. Faculty members are so much educated and our director sir is very humble with students.

Other: I chose this course to go ahead more in sports field and gain knowledge about the backbones of a sports event.

Placements: I've just passed out from my college in the year of 2025. Regarding my placements, I have got a placement in the Main Apollo Hospital, which is one of the greatest hospitals across Asia. My dream was to become a healthcare administrator in a higher position. But currently, I am enjoying my job as a junior associate in the patient care services at Apollo Hospital Chennai. My college gave me the opportunity for my internships as well as my placements, with a good salary package, which is approximately around 5 LPA.

Infrastructure: I have been staying in the hostel, and the hostel facilities are way too good. I have never seen this type of hostel at a very low price. They provide good food, full Wi-Fi connections, labs, and a good library. There are many printed books and journals. The quality of facilities in the hostel is way too high, which other colleges cannot afford at this time. Every year, we have an annual sports competition, and an inter-college sports competition, which includes both indoor and outdoor games.

Faculty: The student-to-faculty ratio in my college is 280, and exams conducted over here are very good. The course curriculum is very relevant for practical real-world experience and the current market situation. I am very much happy with the difficulty of the semester exams in my college, which is moderate to high, and the passing percentage is 40 out of 100. The teachers are well-qualified to guide us in this practical world scenario.

Other: I chose the course because I love to be a healthcare professional. I am very much grateful to my college faculty members for guiding me so well as per the marketing scenario. One thing I could improve is that they must include some artificial intelligence knowledge as well. Every year, we have "Hastala Vista," which is the annual sports function and bleeds. The campus crowd is way too high, and the campus surroundings are very good. This college provides scholarships like SVCM.

Moderate college as per the fee.

Placements: The placement cell at my college requires us to maintain a good CGPA and SGPA. Placements are frequent and the packages are decent, but we need to work hard and not rely on the college to get a job. Some of the companies that come for placements are Infosys and Deloitte. The average salary package last year was 2.5 lakh per annum.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but the computers are not. There is no good computer in the college for practical. There are sports complexes and gyms for both girls and boys but they are used at different times of the day. There is no fear of ragging inside the college. The mess food is good, but sometimes they ruin it.

Faculty: The faculty are good teachers and will help us all the time, even after work time is over. There is no ragging, and the college requires students to maintain a good CGPA and SGPA. Students are charged an examination fee for each semester. If we fail an exam, we must fill out a backlog form and pay an additional fee.

Other: I really like my college. There are a lot of programs for each department, which creates a lot of competition. But the best thing about the fests is that they give you a chance to compete in various sports competitions as well.
