Good academics and a peaceful campus, but placements need improvement.
Placements: 30% of students got placed. The highest package was 3 LPA, the lowest was 1 LPA, and the average was 2 LPA. Mostly companies like Wipro BPO, TCS BPO, and Infosys BPM visited for hiring. Around 5% of students did internships. The top roles were Data Entry Operator, Processing Executive, or Teaching Assistant. Some students also got clerical jobs in banks.
Infrastructure: The Mathematics Department had well-maintained classrooms and a good library with enough reference books. The hostel facilities were decent with basic amenities and reasonable mess food. The college also provided good sports grounds and access to the nearest hospital.
Faculty: Teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The course curriculum was relevant as per the university syllabus. But students needed to have extra skills to be fully industry-ready. Semester exams were moderate if you studied well. My percentage was 80%.
Other: I chose B.Sc. Mathematics because I was interested in numbers and problem-solving. More industry-focused training or internships could have been offered. The college had good art fests, cultural events, sports, and NSS activities.
